I'm actually surprised that nobody took the Mercenary or Rebel Soldier.

We do have the Primitive Warrior, and the bodyguards of Galahad and Sasha probably fall under the Soldier type.

I guess Ace is kinda soldier-y

My second character idea was actually a Slaver, member of the Goldent Serpent. He would be pretty twisted and corrupted as well.

Is Sasha`s marriage arranged, against her family, or something in between? Commisar has affair with his assistant, though I am not sure that he "loves" her. He could kill her if she turned against him. Still, she has right looks and personality, and is daughter of influential pro-Imperial Senator that is his Contact Senate Merit( I found it fitting to have connected Merits). Oh, and he wouldn`t mind to have children that could inherit his position as at the top of Imperial "new aristocracy", unless they would not live up to his expectations.

Which is still very good for fighting still.

Not at all....for example Antigonus, one of Alexander`s the Great Generals, died in battle at the age of 81( and he even lacked on eye). Older people can be fit and hard sometimes, and 40 is not that old.
