Yeah, while you guys think in similar ways I'm trying to make friends with a psychopath...cry
He will however fight tooth and nail to protect you if you happen to prove yourself valuable to the group. 😛
And Xavier has reached out to Con as he hasn't tried to make him sleep in the engine room yet. That's progress 😄

I see that as a challenge. You just wait, we'll be BFFs in no time. 😛

You can fire them all out in fights, can't you. You know, a few combat pushs here, a few dashes there.
Most of the ones I have are things I'd never make use of, anyway, regardless of how many points I had available. Dash I would probably use, Strike maybe if I had tapped out Blade tricks and needed the extra pool, but...that's it. Evade is useful but I wouldn't ever use it unless I was desperate because I don't like wasting an action to defend when it could be better used to kill enemies. And Saber Throw and Combat Push are things I've never used.
Mwahaha, so Rianna not only is Force weak, but she won`t even use her Force powers, despite the fact that she cannot use a Force power more than 5 times in entire story?
Now I won`t have this problem, powers like Persuade or Empathy are always useful, and Foresight will be always used until I get manifest destiny.
By the way, Ush, I have a flavour question for quitening power, which seems so Lightside in description, making animal calm. Could Darksider scare animal instead, or even make it so angry it goes berserk?
Frankly, this power is only one that screams light side to me, more so than actual light side powers. I don`t see how it is impossible for bad guy to use dissipate and flow of the force could be darkside power if you slightly change the description, like it was the case with old master tricks.
But befriending amimals is really for goody two-shoes. Darksiders should be perceived as supreme predators, like Vampires in some roleplaying games.
It's a bit like saying "Persuade is too passive for Dark Siders, they shouldn't be able to use the Mind Trick but have a version that makes people want to kill them instead!"
Intelligent Dark Siders make good use of seemingly passive Force powers.
Meanwhile the Light Side is focussed on defence, the Dark Side on attack. Light Side gets Dissipate, Dark Side gets Lightning (admittedly not actually in the rules yet).
