Jovan, the entire first campaign of Ush's RPG was based on the Jedi Lore skill. Anyone who was good with it knew what was going on. Well, for starters, it's 'pray'.

And as it's more of a passive skill, there's a chance it's been handy already and you've just not realized it.

Rest assured it is a useful skill. Even I've made use of it so far.
