And the Renegades trudge onwards. Take that, Cultists!I'm definitely going to be changing some of my schticks around, now that I actually understand what they do!

Yeah, I think in the future the Darkies should spend their money on things that benefit us. I think the Epireans are dicking around with stuff we give them. We need things like... Anti-Osokan Battle Suits and rocket legs.Would we count that astromech droid we got as an Ally? Can we name it? ermm
Uhhh, can we get poptarts? 😱

Plus I say we should spend the money and get a battleship or a really big gun 😄
Happy birthday, birthday people!
Had another playtest on Sunday. Combat Schticks have definitely changed, in name and effect. I think Overhead Blow no longer exists, which solves that problem; Sidestep has become Duck and is less powerful; Unbreakable has become Impervious, other minor differences. I'll have it all up before the episodes start.
Two new Gun schticks are coming in- Covering Fire and Ka-Boom, the second of which is for area effect weapons.
Haha... sure you don't...
(whistles innocently)

Well, some 18 months later than planned, I have the fighter combat system! This means the Renegade finale can actually go . ahead properly! Yay! Full speed ahead to get that done I think. We have a certain pace going right now, which is good.

Island of Fire has been given a first full release version in time for Christmas! Please bear in mind, though, that IoF was considerably more difficult to programme than Fall of Damaria was, and the bug testing process threw up all sorts of weird results. Literally dozens of bugs- some minor, some annoying, some directly game killing/crashing- have been fixed in five different versions since I first got my hands on it (and each new version wiping my saves...). So... a great deal of effort has gone in, but mayhaps there are a few still there, something we will ask yuor indulgence for (as well as having them reported, please!)
Release is on Friday week, on Doctor Who day (or 'Christmas' as they still call it in some quarters)
