No, you see, this is an old failing. Many other options were not ruled out. Many other options were simply called difficult. It's ALL difficult. For example, it is MUCH easier for have you to have gone with Strength/Intrusion than this approach.

Please don't make up what I said.

Incidentally, several of you have the crowd control skills to have walked right through that queue. You all focussed on the guards- no help- but the PEOPLE were a different matter

I thought the main problem with the crowd wasn't the guards but that there was simply too many people to get through.

In any case, I made a helpful suggestion regarding the situation in-game. Relle has SOME social talent, even if limited.

Relle is actually fairly awesome, thanks to having Presence.

Yes.

And several force powers help with crowds of people... not to mention skills like Leadership and Persuade.

It's a shame I've been fairly busy. I think we only postulated 'can we push our way into the qeue' and 'can we Mind Trick a guard to let us in.' That would have made Rand look awesome if we simply strode through the line and people let us have their spots.

Sorry, I was under impression that moving through the quee is physically impossible, as thousands of people are standing in line. Would they all move aside for Gallador because he has relevant powers?

If you played it right, yes. My point was that it was not a matter of permission- the guards could not unblock the streets. But if you had control of the crowd, it was different.

Too late for this I quess?

My original idea was to bluff the way through sewer guards, by the way.

We haven`t really messed it yet!

We've made it unnecessarily difficult, though. Convoluted plans with speeders or walking up casually, which is easier?

It was the obsession with guards that was really the problem. You saw a crowd and thought 'guards'. It didn't work.

At least Relle has some social skill. You're not done with the thug yet but she may be saving us a lot of trouble. Go Relle!
