Defensive schticks, high Strength?

Kind of, yeah. He's also something of a brawler, a lot of unarmed combat shticks.

Edit: I have another question, this one concerning a combat mechanic. Is it possible to switch and immediately tap a schtick?

Yes. Swaps take place at the start of the turn, so you can swap something in and tap it right away no problem.

That's actually a recent change, swaps using to happen at the end of the turn.

Just so nobody assumes that I am slacking off here, I am not updating the Retro mini-sodes until I get my laptop back in running order, because updating from my phone is a major hassle.
