RP General Discussion

And so far that's holding true and will probably stay as such.

I'm using the Osokans sparingly in Rah's game. What I really wasn't sure on was how frequently/how much they should regenerate, and how much damage neurowhips should do. I settled with 5 points every other round and a base damage of 4*.

Not planning on using them after this scene, and my Retro games always come with an 'Ush might do this differently' tag.

I'm still tempted to end the argument about Ranto by simply killing him 😛

That would add a delightful bit of chaos to the game.

Not happening.

And if there's something I love, it's chaos!

You know you're outnumbered when it comes to Ranto, right? 😛

*Dark Side on* So stab him in the face, and move on *Dark Side off*

Even if I can't kill you all, I will make sure to dish out as much damage as possible so that none of you leave Datura.

You wouldn't be leaving either...

I think the general idea is that individual Osokans will be less dangerous than before, mostly because the current system is more attritional- i.e. you get hit more- and so your higher damage capacity will lower the effect of neurowhips; also supermooks are easier to kill then they were before.

Doubt that'd happen.

Hmm, I might have them tooled a bit high, then.

God please don't kill him - could you imagine the noise? I think everyone's ears would shatter! Not to mention I'd have to watch Ush going totally mental acting that out on my Ush-cam (since he's convinced I'm spying on him - actually he's just that predictable!). Maybe if you strangle him in a force grip he won't be able to squark - just a quiet gurgling instead?

Sadly, Rianna isn't very Force-inclined, and lacks Grip...damn.

(this is a very fun way to keep distracting myself from knitting, I must say 😛)

I should be insulted by the idea that I am equally predictable after an eight year absence...

... though I do not think it is fair that you know I always say things out loud before putting them into RP games to see if they would work right 'on-screen'. That sort of information undermines my position as respected deity around here! I'll have all of you thinking I am a mere human next.

(Peach, whatever you are about to say in reply to that... shut up...)

knitting? You're kidding right? Ok so I get that you guys are stuck in a prison - how did you get there exactly and what is so difficult about getting out? And what are Blue and Black? Sorry - I'm sure i could read 200 pages of posts and work all that out for myself!

Awww, you're no fun...

I am knitting while posting, yes 😛 Or at least typing with one hand (got real good at that a few years ago when I broke my finger) while holding the needles in the other.

We got arrested and in the prison on purpose to try and find Kuylen. And Black and Blue are levels in the prison.

Ah well in that case Ush I shall have to remember to keep all the other secrets I know about you in reserve for blackmailing territory!

Yeah, that's more like it! Respect for the Ushman!

Blue and Black are lower levels of the prison. The colour scheme for an increasingly dangerous mine was entirely our idea and the fact it is identical to the Doctor Who story The Caves of Androzani is pure coincidence.

Oh man, this is unfair! People know way too much about me!

I have changed in many significant and unfathomable ways!

Like... uhhh... I have a bigger DVD collection...
