Oh hey summer.

I'm finally done with classes as of like... two weeks ago, and now that I've gotten some events out of the way and have a general 'I have no responsibilities' thing going on, here I am!

Yay!

I think this is the slowest summer we've had, here. It sucks being old.

I've been busy and hence not on here much, but I can't say I don't enjoy what's going on in my life lately.

Yea, I started a new job and got caught up in all of that. I've got my life/schedule figured out for the time being, so when there is a chance I'll hop back in.

Yay! After the current fight would be good...

Good to hear from you both!

Cross-country move, changing jobs (kinda)...yeah.

Busy but it is an enjoyable busy.

Well thats me out :/

It's not permanent, you know!

I've only just gotten back to posting around here, but I'll have to be disappearing again for about five days or so. For the sake of the light side campaign, I'm allowing Brit to run Aurel's actions until I return. Sorry everyone. 🙁

Can't play by proxy, I'm afraid, but I always try to do my best by absent players.

Okay, I'm around again. Took a small annual vacation to Sequoia National Forest then spent some time away from the Internet after.

I've returned as well. I already set things into motion in my Retro, and I'll be adding my actions to the main campaign. I'm looking forward to the return.

Back from my absence... So, I have to ask, is Denz dead?

Welcome back, JR. Far as I can tell Denz isn't dead, but he's definitely incapacitated. Depending on how fast the rest of us can get clear, I think you'll be fine.

No, Denzral isn't dead. Usually characters die if they put themselves in extreme danger or slip up in a dire situation, or if the entire team goes down.

There are only two ways to get killed in my games:

1. You are downed in combat against an enemy that is seeking to kill you and it becomes impossible for you to be rescued by the others

2. You take a dangerous course of action that I warn you in advance is potentially lethal, and it cocks up.

In theory a major lightsabre duel loss is a kill as well, but generally with players we start taking limbs instead. However, come the end of the campaign, which will very possibly be the end of all play, we might take it to the death.

Generally speaking, though, if a character really does get badly messed up, we tend to represent that via things like long-term stat loss. With the style of game I run, actively killing characters tends to harm the story more than is worth it.

Now I'm trying to figure out how many times I could have gotten Roan actually killed...

I think really only I've come to the closest to this. Ghost Citadel...

I came pretty damn close in the Matrix. As close as you came to actual death in the Citadel, I think, Zink.
