I dunno. Life's busy, and it's not going to get any less busy - the game we're doing artwork for is aiming to release next year, I'm planning on going back to college in the fall, we're saving to buy a house in the next year or two...

Also last month we kind of acquired a pair of cats. They're pretty great.

Web development and design, basically. May as well get the paper to go with my portfolio and experience, since that paper means more than anything else nowadays. Though I'm really enjoying the work I'm doing right now. UI/UX design for video games is such a different type of design than I usually work on.

Yeah, you're definitely busier than I am, based on all of the above. I just finished school but I'm still working my 40-50 hours a week at the hotel. But that's it, for once. Yay! All sounds productive and an opportunity to apply your talents, Lana. Good on you.

That or she just sleeps through the whole thing. Lazy bum.

Yeah, right now I'm working ~38 hours a week at my regular job, I spend anywhere from 5-15 hours a week on art stuffs (I'm actually working on adjusting some prop art I had to draw for a menu at this moment, and I've got some personal artwork I'm working on just for a change of pace), I still try and dedicate some time to writing when I can...I'll probably only be taking a couple classes at a time, so it'll take a while, but I already know that I can't stretch myself too thin.

Also I've been at my current job for just a few months and they're already starting to train me for promotion. Hah.

I'm definitely the busiest I've ever been, but also the happiest. Weird how that works sometimes. There's just been a lot of really positive changes and things going on this year for me.

Also I have cats now, which is always a plus.

Honestly, I'm not doing much besides work and it's a job that I'm not working toward. It feels lackluster, not practicing language skills or studying for classes. But then again, it's a change after being in college for seven years.

I'm not writing much either, I might get back into that.

I miss pets.

I spend 40 hours a week working. I try to write a little bit here and there. Also I've been getting back into competitive ballroom dancing which has been taking up more time.

I mean, the job I'm at right now isn't a great one by any means. But it pays well enough that it pays the bills and there's plenty leftover to put into savings, and it's less stressful and annoying than some previous ones I've had, so whatever, it works.

The cats are hilarious. They were strays that decided to move in with us - Kalla (the adult cat) followed us up the stairs to our apartment, hung around for a bit, left, and came back a few hours later with a kitten. So we have both mama and baby, and we've had them for a bit over a month now. Kalla is a siamese, so she's really, really loud, and Kamille (the kitten) is generally pretty good but when he decides to do stupid stuff, he does really stupid stuff. Like climb under the stove.

The best part is how fast tiny kittens grow (Kamille was probably 5 weeks old when they came to us - he's more than doubled in size). It's also a lot of fun socializing a nearly-feral kitten into a happy little cuddly fluffball.

That's adorable. Kittiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiies.

I love cats. Funny little assholes. Good to hear from you and glad you're doing well. Some day when things calms down, I do believe Rhianna owes Andro a duel, though. (I think there's a line, actually)

My cat Mochi (who lives with my parents) is cross-eyed and runs into things, then meows until someone moves the thing she ran into. Adorable dumbass.

I'll fight Andro in Rianna's stead (and win!)
