Jla vs X-men

The JLA would win. It wouldn't even be a contest. It WOULD be interesting to see.

the justice league has sooooooo many members honorary members, reserve members, founding members..... and if it is a full team battle , jla wins.

I still think it would be a very close call. They both have lots of member, and each have very strong/powerful members.

i think that sm and ww tip it over to the jla's favor

ayjay: When I stated "realistic X-men" I meant as compared to the JLA whom has members fighting entire armies, moving planets, members whom can survive nuclear holocausts'(Superman, WonderWoman), in other words "more physically capable" members..

The X-men are a bit more "realistic" in the sense that they strive for more dramatic storylines/plots etc...Thus you might find the entire team having to retreat from (lets say) 12 sentinels, 1/2 can't even survive bullets let alone one "strong guy" such as Juggernaut...

Face it, the JLA are more "exxagerated" as far as powers go and are on a more higher level of power than that of the X-men...

yeeeh...in that sense..i totally agree....which is why i think the x-men are a lot more interesting to read about...as their histories and characters are more "believable"....

But that's not what the post is about, it's not titled "Who's more believable" BUT "Who will win in a versus battle"...

agreed...thus...i think that maybe the JLA take it...but still....powers from phoenix and xavier.....i these two are the main factors that are stopping me from reaching a resolved decision

and with good reason, now if we're counting the Phoenix THEN we might have a good battle on our hands, I chose to exclude Phoenix due to her circumstantial appearances..She's not "really" an recurring character and only appears during certain saga's..BUT yeah if the phoenix were in this battle then I don't know if the JL would stand a chance...
