whats the coolest thing about DARTH VADER?

all that i know is i would of hated to be a high ranking imperial personnel on the destroyers he was on.

In the novelization of "Shadows of the Empire" they say the junior officers on the Executor used to draw lots to see who had to take messages to Vader. They were that scared of him.

he's got power and he knows how to use it.

the mystery round him... as a child I always asked myself how a machine guy can have children... 🙄 until I grow older and watched ep6.
maybe it's because you want to be like him. everybody wants might and strength.
and what I did love in ep6 was how he killed the emperor!
(spoiler warning: I guess it was palpatine who murdered padmé)
I also like the happy ending in ep6, cause under normal circumstances the bad guys die, but in sw there's also a nice ending for him.

but: when the father is so cool, why can't luke be like him? just a tiny little bit?

perhaps Star Wars would be better with a sadder ending?
