"Sure thing. Do you want a job or something? I know the tailor and he would be happy to have you. Is that what you want?" asked Yuma curiously. She stirred the pot vigoursly.

"Oh no not me, Dumi. He's um jobless." she whispered the last word.

"He can work for the carpentar," said Yuma.

"Or you three could move to the palace and work for me..."

Naqadar said as he was walking into the room.

"It looks as if I might need some 'help' finding a new royal advisor...Maybe a whole new staff."

"Who would you hire?" asked Yuma.

"Might be your jobs to find someone that I can trust."

Zafira smiled. "Really? That would be great?"

"It'd be totally awesome," said Yuma.

Zafira saw Dumi come out of his room. His smile faded as he saw Naqadar. "Zafira, get us drinks, now!"

Zafira bowed to her master and went to the kitchen. She filled three cups with wine. She felt something was ailing Dumi. He had return to his old self.

"Thanks," said Yuma as she was handed a cup.

Zafira nodded. She offered one to Naqadar then to Dumi.

"You can have one," said yuma as she handed a drink that was on the counter.

Zafira felt Dumi's piercing eyes on her. "No thanks." she said forcing a smile.

Dumi smiled that told Zafira to leave them for awhile. Zafira owd to them all, excused herself, and left.

"Why are you treating Zaf that way?" asked Yuma so only he could hear.

Dumi looked at Yuma. "What way?" he answered cooly.

"Like a slave because before you treated her equally. Like me," she hissed so only he could hear.

"You are dreaming." he said. "If you'll excuse me. I have some personal matters to take care of." he said basically telling them to get out.

"Fine," said Yuma as she went off to make the meal like she always did when dismissed.

Dumi watched Yuma leave. A tinge of guilt hit Dumi ut he quickly dismissed it.

Yuma was cutting up the wheat when she spied a note scrawled on something. It was from Dumi to someone.
