Dumi sat at his desk and sighed. "What is going on" he wondered. Everything seemed to e turning against him.

The note was addressed to some Wealthy egyptian who had offered to buy Zafira. Dumi had turned him down.

Yuma put the note down and went back to churning the wheat into a kind of bread we use today.

(Yuma's nosy ain't she... 😛 )))

Zafira walked into the kitchen. "Do you need any help." she asked Yuma. Her eyes didn't dare meet the priestess's ones. She looked at the floor waiting patiently for an answer.

"Of course. You can look at me you know unless I have a huge wort or something," said Yuma. "Whats wrong with you?"

((A tiny bit but she loves to help no matter what))

Zafira bit her bottom lip. "Yuma, I..." she began only to be intterupted by Dumi shouting her name. She bowed to Yuma and then left to see what Dumi wanted.

"I'm not that grand!" shouted Yuma over to her.

Dumi was giving Zafira orders on chores and other stuff he needed done. He went on for aout ten minutes on the list.

Zafira stood straight but her head was bowed in respect. She listened intently. It would take her three days to finish all the chores he was giving her.

"I can help. The royal advisor gave me lessons on oddles of unuseless tasks. Can I?" asked Yuma.

Dumi looked up. "I'm sure Zafira can handle it." he said eying the young woman before him.

Zafira forced a smile. "Master Dumi is right, Mi'lady. I can handle it." with that she left to do the chores handed to her.

"Huh?" asked Yuma before she went into the kitchen to make some lunch.

Dumi sat on his couch and sighed. He began to read the scroll that had been sent to him.

Yuma mixed vigorusly upset about how Zaf was treated.

Dumi walked through the kitchen and into his room. He was exhausted. he layed down on his neatly made bed. He smiled rememering who had made it. He quickly shook from his thoughts.

"Hey Zaf! Can you get the fire started for lunch?" Yuma said so she can finally talk to her about her sudden change.

Zafira bit her lip as she walked in. She began to rub the sticks together to make a fire spark to life. She didn't say anything. Not this close to Dumi.

"So how is it going?" she asked in a cool voice not her usual excitied voice at all.

"Well" Zafira lied as the fire started. She placed the sticks and waited for it to getgoing good before she stood up straight.

"Want a go shopping?" Yuma asked.

"I'm sorry mi'lady, ut I have so many chores. Maybe next week."
