Ancient Egypt: On the Nile

"Im just saying dont worship them if you dont beileve in them, I worship one... His nowhere close to Egyptian gods, I saw him on the amulate I had on when the pharoan found me..." answered Tamkley.

"Very interesting," said Yuma. She got up and began to pace the room in thought. If other people worshiped different gods that didn't nescessairly mean that she should have to worship Egyptian gods.

Zafira bit her lip. "Isn't that called hypocrisy. To worship somethng you do not believe in."

Tamkley blushed... "Erghh Hypo what what whaty??" reasked Tamkley.

"Hypocrisy. A heard a friend of mine talking about it." Zafira said.

"Do you believe in the Egyptian gods?" asked Yuma.

Zafira shook her head. "Nope, I'm sorry, but I don't."

"Theres nothing to be sorry about. There cruel, they have no sense, there just stupid" adds Tamkley.

Zafira stands dumbstruck by Tamkley's words. "Then what do you worship?"

"Dont exactly know... Hope? Im not sure... Maybe ive created my own god..."

"Sounds great." Zafira said.

"How can say such things? I still believe in the gods a bit," said Yuma.

"Well, I'm not sure I do." Zafira said. "They've given me no reason to believe in them."

"What have they done then?" asked Yuma. She took a seat right beside Zafira before a concerned look crossed her face.

"Alot, Killed peaple, punished peaple for no reason..." answered Tamkley.

"If they were realk, I would be living with both my parents, who would be alive and healthy. Not. . ." Zafira's voice trailed off.

"Maybe, there is a certain god that you have to believe to have miracles. Maybe it's not even Egyptian," said Yuma.

Zafira shook her head. "I haven't heard of him."

"This beileve made peaple think egyptian gods exist...Natural disasters, and Luck. They worship them for Miracles,and Luck...Pitfull..." said Tamkley.

"Hey! Maybe you're right. They don't help me and they never have. No wonder I ended up here and not as a noble or something like that."
