Here's a really good mcenroe track with him telling it like it is. It's from his debut album, Disenfranchised.

mcenroe isnt too shabby either, his flow isnt in Smiths league but his lyrics are really clever and certainly make their point. What are mcenroes albums like?
That's pretty much mcenroe. His flow isn't the greatest but his rhymes are always clever, witty, and intelligent. Never any filler. Same thing goes for his albums... His first ep (ethics ep) is very raw. The beats are really nice, but yet it's still a few years away before mcenroe really finds his touch. Fun album for sure. The Convenience ep was where mcenroe really started hitting his stride. Beats were better. The lyrics were a lot better. It was pretty much an improvement in every way from his first ep. Then came Disenfranchised which pretty much sums up what the album is about. mcenroe's beats are a little more darker for this one and his lyrics are on point as ever. They're all really good in their own ways and worth checking out for sure.
Here's another mcenroe track worth checking out if you want to hear some more of his material.

What did you think of Emergency Rations Afro?
His delivery doesn't do much for me and neither do his rhymes but most of his content is pretty good and the production on the album is decent.. it's not a waste of money but probably not the first CD I'd spend my money on either. Overall the album was good though.

Have you still been listening to to the Blunderbus and PLS albums, Kool?
Definitely, they are on constant rotation in my car, at home and at work along with the Josh Martinez album. I can see myself spending alot of money at the P&C store. Im lovin that track off Blunderbus called Walk on by, it always makes me laugh when he talks about bumping into that dude hes trying to avoid in the street. "aaahhhhh shit it is him" brilliant.

haha, that's def a top 3 track on Blunderbus. Look Ma No Hands is great, too. That's great you really like the albums and the P & C music. I think if more people could hear their music they'd have a lot more fans... Which albums were you thinking about getting next from the P & C site?

Maybe a mcenroe one after your glowing recommendation and I hear Pip Skids solo album is good to. Im interested in that John Smith and Pip Skid one to after hearing that Smitty track you posted. Its amazing how much more i like Pip Skids flow when he has a decent beat to ride. I think i'll end up getting the Fermented Reptile album for lyrical content alone. Thanks for putting me onto these guys man, I would never have know about the awesome Canadian hip hop scene otherwise. New Zealand is a bit behind that way.

If you're going to get a mcenroe album start off with The Convenience ep first. That's a great place to start. That's the album that has Forged on it w/ Josh Martinez. Really where mcenroe came into his own beat wise too... Any true P & C fan has to get Friends4Ever (Pip Skid) sooner or later. It's one of the best albums P & C has to offer. A must buy. The fermented album has some solid production. A lot of beats I really dig. You might be surprised... but of course they're not going to be as good as they are on Blunderbus, the PLS album, and Friends4Ever. The Hip-Hop Wieners album is also a must buy. Not only some of mcenroe's best beats, but Smith really hit his stride individually on the album. Up to that point, when the album was released, he hadn't been better. If you like that Crantinis at 15,000 Feet song, imagine of whole album of that.
Here's a funny track from the album. Top notch beat from the mcenroe, and Smitty and Pipi come through as always.

Hip-Hop Wieners is the latest project of Break Bread crew members and Peanuts & Corn labelmates Pipi Skid and John Smith. With "All Beef, No Chicken," the two MCs have set out to show a different side of themselves. This is the side that drank too much Jagermeister and orange juice and listened to too many Cash Money Millionaires records. However, tried as they may have to create a strictly party record, their politics and personalities shined through, and we are also given a taste of what so many people have come to admire from their earlier recordings
Back in the fall of 1999, artist and visionary Andrew Hunter wanted a musician to provide a soundtrack for his Billy's Vision exhibit opening at the Mendel Art Gallery in Saskatoon. If you cant see the exhibit, you can get this book / soundtrack combo and experience the story of Billy for yourself.
CD contains 14 tracks and 28 page booklet with the entire Billy's Vision story by Andrew Hunter.
Here are some Break Bread tracks. If you dont know who Break Bread is:
As a group of mc’s that have worked together for so long, it is surprising that it is only now that Break Bread decided to do a release as a super group. The crew was formed officially in 1999 with a posse cut on fermented reptile’s “lets just call you quits”, and has since expanded to 6 members.Break Bread consists of mcenroe, Pipi Skid, John Smith, Gruf, Hunnicutt and Yy. They are also known as members of their various groups: Farm Fresh, Park-Like Setting, fermented reptile and Hip-Hop Wieners. Collectively these six individuals are responsible for over 25 albums and ep’s in the last 10 years, and represent 6 of the most talented and respected artists that Canada has to offer.
This recording was written and recorded during mcenroe’s last Christmas visit to Winnipeg in 2003. Each mc was responsible for a concept on one song, and the others were to stick to that concept. The result is a tight, cohesive EP that shows the skill and fun side of P&C instead of the darker personal or political solo material. These tracks are bangers.
Production is handled primarily by mcenroe, with Hunnicutt adding turntable magic throughout. Hip-Hop fans will love the energy and fun of this EP, and they may look at the P&C mc’s in a new light.
