Grandmasters. GZA > everything else in the world.

GZA, Masta Killa, Sunz of Man + RZA on the boards, that's the perfect Clan combo.

Doom, Ras, Aes, Khadafi and C-Rayz = icing on the cake

Cannox and Shaaaoown Pee = the cake's triple-chocolate fudge frosting droolio

And the RZA/Doom album should so be called Bobby Doomigital ✅

Is that Redman in your avy?

doesnt look like it

and nice avatar. Vordul's solo album is a classic in my opinion, even though many disagree.

oops my bad 😛

Nice avatar though Dr.
I got Illogic - Celestial Clockwork today and this guy just floors me with his rhyming skills. Blueprints beats and hooks complement Illogics deep lyrics perfectly, i heard 1st trimester last week and the lyrics and whole mood of the track left me stunned so i thought i'd get the album. I love the track Time Capsule as well with Aesop and Vast Aire, I havent heard much of Vast except the track Iron Galaxy but i really like his style. I'd recommend this album to anyone who still thinks hip hop is unintelligent and meaningless music.
Phat J i dont know much about Prefuse 73 but i have heard the tracks with Aesop and Doom (amazing) and Ghostface and El-P and they are stellar. Eraserhead knows loads more so i'm sure he'll chime in soon enough.

Celestial Clockwork is incredible. One of Illogic's best abums.

Its the only full Illogic album i've heard and i must say he is one of the elite emcees IMHO. He just doesnt waste any words like alot of emcees, sometimes it sounds if they are just dare i say it "fumbling over words that rhyme". 😉

I wouldn't say ''classic'', but it's certainly very good ✅

And kool, if you like Vast then you should really get The Cold Vein. It is in my humble opinion the best hip-hop album in existence.

Illogic is good, I've been digging up as much of him as I can find ever since I heard him on Labor Days. And Prefuse' latest album wasn't that great IMO, exception being Ghost/El-P collab. Uprock Narratives is consistently excellent though.

Thanks DB, The Cold Vein is one of my next purchases.
If you havent heard these Illogic tracks then i'd definitely recommend them: Hate in a puddle, First Trimester, Birthright and Time Capsule. Like i say i've only heard one album and a few tracks i d/l but i cant say enough about this dudes skills.

Every one should hear "Lickupon" by MF Doom. It ranks up to "Never Dead" IMO

Viktor Vaughn - Lickupon
Viktor Vaughn (ft. M. Sayyid AKA Curtis Strifer) - Never Dead

Vik is a 50% faceless time-traveling armed robber/drug dealer/scientist with a fetish for obscure pop culture and Chinese restaurants (the mind and voice of Daniel Dumile), and 50% sci-fi/digi-funk production courtesy of various SoundInk affiliated producers, plus RJD2.

MF Doom on the other hand, is 50% evil genius/supervillain, who wears a metal mask but definitely has a face, with a fetish for world domination (the voice of Daniel Dumile), and 50% retro, blunted, quiz-show sampling production of Metal Fingers (the hands of Daniel Dumile).

Difference ranting

And Lickupon, IMO, has the second worst beat on Vaudeville Villain, after Mr Clean. Can only be ''Lactose And Lecithin'' and ''Modern Day Mugging'' for some real Viktory goodness.

This'll be in stores on October 18, and the first single, "Biochemical Equation" featuring the RZA and MF Doom, will make its premiere on iTunes in August. Further projects will include solo albums from Wu-Tang affiliates Bronze Nazazreth and La the Darkman/Embassy Entertainment.

In the words of that professor from Futurama, ''good news everyone!''

Got that ^ right here. Hear if you haven't already.
