Hockey, have you heard "Institutionalized" yet? I got it last week. Not too bad.

i thought it was dissapointing. the guests weren't that spectacular, Ras had alot of quoteables, the production was average...i was hoping for another Soul On Ice.

Well, it's a mixtape so I don't think it was supposed to sound like a real album.

I keep wanting to call you two D00m and hh, this is taking a while to get used to. 😆

Why do you think Phrenology is rated so low? Do you think its because its such a different sound compared to their other albums (i've heard)?

and i ranked it last cuz it wasn't as good as the other albums in all aspects. it was good, but weak compared to the others.

was Organix like a freestyle album?

apparently there are new diss tracks by Scipio towards Ras Kass.

if u guyz dont know, Scipio is pretty much a new mc. Ras guided him, they did tracks together, and for some random reason Scipio dissed Ras. There were rumors that Scipio would sign with ROC.

yea organix was their first...unless they released something before that i didn't know about.

The first Roots album i got was Phrenology and even though i liked it i didnt think it was good enough to buy their other albums. But then Eraserhead recommended Illadelph, so i got that and DYWM and now they are one of my fav groups. Illadelph has been playing in my car for days now, does anyone know if they have a live DVD out?

im gonna check out illadelph and see if it like it

It's a great album, even better if you're in a 😮‍💨 type of mood.

What emcee from The Roots do you like best? Im gonna say Black Thought, Malik is great but BT's flow is more my taste. I love his verse on "I remain calm".

black thought hands down, maliks good but liek you said he has that flow that when you ehar it your jsut like, yeah

Black Thought is one of the all time greats, IMO.

I've heard limewire is ok but i dont know if its ad free.
