Sorry, I don't see any resemblance between the two...at all, besides the fact that they are both obviously overweight but that still doesn't mean they look alike at least in my opinion.

News on Chino XL
Chino in a recent interview said the 'Poison Pen' album will still be released in january 2006. the album title will be changed to 'Poison Pen: The Lost Tapes'. His other album 'Chi' is going to be released afterwards and it has more of the mainstream flavor to it.
in my opinion, i doubt any of this will happen. as much as i like Chino's music, he really has record label problems with releasing his albums.
sticky fingaz - black trash: autobiography of kirk jones

listen to state vs kirk jones, canibus is the crown prosecutor, rah digga is the judge, and redman is the defense attorney. thats such a sick concept to make a song about.

my opinion on those mc's:Nas: legend. had 1 classic, and a few good albums.
Pun: Great. Had 1 great album (r.i.p)
BIG: I'm not really a fan. Ghostface and Raekwon have said many times he's a fake, but i dunno. (r.i.p)
Big L: 1 classic. 1 great album. He's a great punchline mc. But not the best punchline mc in my opinion. (r.i.p)
Jay: 1 classic (reasonable doubt), the rest wack.
yeah i like your thoughts on them. but u dont count stillmatic as a classic? no skip tracks, no wack tracks, no filler... oh well
now you know why nas and jay squashing it is so big for me. 3 of my top 5 are dead, and to see them both on the stage just rippin it means so much to me. on the real once nas and hov wraps the mic, im done fukkin with rap.
and after reading most of the post in this thread i kinda figured out that you dudes like the underground/non-mainstream more. its cool but besides def, common, talib kweli,(a little bit of tech) i dont really **** with the underground
*loses interest*

I heard of these guys before but never got round to giving them a listen. Could anyone upload some more of their music please? Also rank their albums so i know where to start when i get some spare cash. Thanks guys.
I Love Cunninlynguists, with a capital L. The most well-rounded group around today. Deacon is a genius.
I don't like their new one very much, but Will Rap For Food and Southernunderground are great. WRFF is probably better to get first, it's less ambitious, funnier and has more of an old school sound. Southernunderground is perfection (comes close second to The Cold Vein and Vaudeville Villain as my favorite hip-hop album). Better production, new group member, often amazing lyrics (see Dying Nation, the best piece of post-Public Enemy political hip-hop).
