That's my wigga talking...White Power!...well it sounds good when black people say it.
All jokes aside, I found it somewhat amazing on the Violent By Design DVD how many JMT shows would be pretty much all white people.
Booyah captain
I can't stand that part of the DVD, that bald guy really pisses me off and Vinnie Paz is so ugly it makes my eyes want to jump out of my head and go drown themselves in sulphuric acid.
I like the ''I Who Have Nothing'' video better, when he was still more of a Skinnie Paz ✅

''White peeps'' as in the tons of (quite often) white only crowds you see out at shows supporting independent artists? ''White peeps'' as in Aesop Rock, Edan, Cage, RA The Rugged Man, Eyedea, El-P and Demigodz? Yes, how dare those filthy crackers rape the culture with their knowledge and passion.
^nah, i meant paleboy(em) and chalky(cena), iovine, the white kids (pardon me for lack of better term) and so on.
no disrespect to white people
but i dont listen to them

😱 Cannibal Ox Reborn!
From Pitchfork Media:
Back atcha: Following two chilly years in suspended animation, the hallowed hip-hop duo known as Cannibal Ox have reemerged at last, and they're fixin' to start something. Pitchfork has just learned that the wizards of Ox are planning a follow-up to 2001's celebrated The Cold Vein, which will drop next year on Def Jux. Jux guru and producer extraordinaire El-P will commandeer the boards for the currently untitled release, as he did on Vein. Guest producers are slated to include the RZA and Pete Rock. Hot.
Cannibal Ox's Vast Aire and Vordul Mega/Megilah have each spent the last two years immersed in solo efforts: Aire's Look Mom...No Hands hit us in April of 2004, followed by Mega's The Revolution of Yung Havoks last November. This past April, Vast Aire partnered with producer Mighty Mi for The Best Damn Rap Show. Aire and Mega also contributed to the Wu-indie smorgasbord, Think Differently Music: Wu-Tang Meets The Indie Culture, which blew up shops two weeks ago.
According to a press release, Cannibal Ox have signed on for a "multi-album worldwide deal," which will hopefully translate to a steady onslaught of spooked-out beats and off-kilter rhymes in the years to come.
As for live appearances, the revitalized Ox has one show scheduled so far, on November 12 at Emo's in Austin, Texas. But an eight-date tour of grim metropolises near you is in the works for December.
The biggest news for me is guest producer RZA! This is already the most anticipated album in my book for next year. This better not dissapoint!
How has Vast fallen off? 😕
If they are both at the top of their game on the next one, it will be literally impossible for Vordul to outshine Vast, because he's just not as good. Production wise, Cold Vein wasn't 100% perfect, I really can't listen to the beat on ''Vein'', it's just melodically deprived noises.
I like Pete Rock, and I worship RZA, but I hope they're limited to one track each. Cannox have always been a trio in my eyes, and I don't think they'll work as well without El-P.
great track with eyedea, slug, aesop rock, blueprint and illogic.

half the tracks off look mom...no hands were kind of weak. i have one in mind right now, ill give it another listen and make sure.
EDIT: i quoted that instead of editing it 😂
Im gonna ask this and then run for cover as it may offend some Can Ox fans. Do you think the Cold Vein and El-P's production in general have somewhat of a trance music feel? Not so much the beats but the floaty sort of backdrops that he uses. Post Mortem off I Phantom is a classic example, i know trance music pretty well from my chemically fuelled London days and i definitely get that feel from El-P's production.
Right, ive said it. If you need me i'll be living the rest of my life in deepest Mongolia.
