G-Unit are terrible, i remeber when my sister's boyfriend was trying to get me to listn to his songs and he was all like ohh his lyrics are all this and that, and this was before i hit the underground scene, i still he thought he sucked. everybody in G-Unit has no talent, and the cash money millionaries, are just like them. how many songs are you gonna put out about sex, money, hoes, and bling, before you get tired of it?

Pip Skid is cool man. His voice really annoyed me to start off with but he always has something worthwhile to say. I've only heard him on a few Fermented Reptile and Posse cut tracks but i'd definitely check him out if i were you. My fav Canadian emcees in order are:
1. Smitty
2. Josh Martinez
3. Gruf
4. mcenroe
5. Birdapres
Pip might be in there but i havent heard enough of his music yet.
You're right there are so many great white emcees out there, hopefully it will show some ignorant brothers that hip hop is universal now and you shouldnt get judged on the colour of your skin but by your music and skills. Honestly i know some brothers who think the only wack emcees in the world are white and if you're black you instantly have skills.

Fair enough man. You're missing out on alot of quality hip hop though, is there any particular reason you dont listen to white emcees?
-hh- i couldnt say who the best white emcee is but my favourites are John Smith, Brother Ali, Qwel, Eyedea, Josh Martinez, Aesop, El-P, Edan, Lyrics Born (i know he's Asian), Sage and mcenroe. Braille's white to isnt he? If he is put him in there as well.

mainly because most of them are in the underground scene and as i stated before i dont really check out new artists (since most of the new cats are shit) and i usually buy mixtapes from the neighborhood streetman... LOL
and
the topics or subject matters... i just cant relate to some of them. and i cant imagine a white mc talkin bout street tales or life in the pjs.

So you don't listen to new MC's because you "think" they'll sound wack? You must be one of those cats who are stuck in the past.
And when do you have to relate to somebody to be feeling their music? How can one full appreciate music if they only limit themselves to songs they can "relate to"?

Pip Skid is definitely worth checking out. If you like MC's with something to say then check out his work.
and yes there are great "white" MC's. But once you really get into hip-hop you come to learn that an mc is an mc. Judging him by his color is so late 90's. Time to move on people.
