I'm just about to stream the game on radio and my money is always on Kobe. I dont think Yao is playing tonight so that should leave the lane open for Kobe and the rest of the gang. Kobe has proved before he can lock T-Mac up, even though McGrady is class.

both are legends, but i prefer Masta Ace. 'Disposable Arts' is incredible.

well, Kane is tight and very influential IMO, he got me into saying "Word to the mother" i say that all the time now 😄 I loved Aint no Half Steppin'

i didnt know he was around that long. like ive heard songs with him and kane but i thought he was just beginning at that point. he even makes references to marley marl's the symphony in no regrets, "but i gotta admit it im glad he did it, its considered the first verse that i spitted". was he just as big as those guys when they were in their prime, or was that like the new kid gettin in with all the big boys?

No Said Date was best of '04 IMO. Brought back wonderful memories of when Wu ruled the earth. Closely followed by Hangar 18 of course.

and I have to go with Kane but I'm biased because he's one of my all-time faves.

I like em both. They were both a big part of my love for hip hop in the late 80's and 90's. I remember when i first heard the Take a look around album by Masta Ace, i played it non stop for months. Same with Kane with the Long live the Kane and Big Daddy thing albums. I havent heard any of their recent stuff apart from a Kane guest spot on a J5 track and Ace on a Cunninlynguists track.

Bad loss for the Lakers. Disappeared in the 3rd. 😠

that hangar 18 album was a one of my favourites too. im gonna have to check out masta ace's older stuff cuz im such a huge fan of a long hot summer and disposable arts.
