BTW thanks so much for that Common mix, i finally got round to my friends house and he d/led it for me. Its like a underground hip hop history lesson told by Common, great stuff. Who does his production? I heard him mention Prem in a couple of tracks, is he always pushin the buttons?

There's a lot of different producers on that mix. Jay Dee, Premo, No ID, Large Pro, Hi-tek, ect ect. A bulk of the tracks are done by Jay Dee and No ID, though.

Ok. All those producers are dope anyway (although i havent heard of No ID and Large Pro). I'll be delving into the Common catalogue as soon as i have the $'s.
Phat, that Cyne - Evolution Fight is awesome. Im not feelin it as much as Time Being yet but i've only listened to it once so far. To be honest though Time Being is one of the best albums i heard last year so its not a knock on Evolution Fight at all. Thanks man.

im happy to up an album, its not a problem, especially when its cyne. evolution flight has a lot of good tracks but there isnt anything like steady, that blew me away when i heard it.

Agreed J, Steady is just one of those tracks that make the repeat button worthwhile. Cyne seems like a really consistent crew though, im not sure how many albums they have but the 2 i've heard are great from top to bottom. You cant say that about alot of albums nowadays.

they have 2 ep's, but other than that thats it. i felt the same way about one.be.lo's new album too, i listened to that a lot for a few weeks there. i just dled his first solo one, its pretty good so far.

I love One Be Lo's stuff from Binary Stars album, he's a dude that cats seem to leave out when talking about punchline emcees. Some of his lines on Masters of the Universe are golden.
I'll add he's solo album to my list if its as good as you say, its called SONAGRAM right?

😆 Im just bumpin Will rap for food for the first time and lovin it. This Deacon line cracked me up "Deacon the villain always misbehavin / in hospitals playin concentration with Alzheimer's patients". Brilliant! I hope the rest of the album is this good.

yeah thats songs top 2 for me off that album, id go with the obvious picks though, that and lynguistics.

sonogram's a great album, you should definitely check it out, i can up a few tracks if you wanna give it a preview.

I've heard true love and thought that was dope. If you have time id love to hear a couple more tracks.
