for hip hop i'm listening to: P.O.S - Ipecac Neat, it's good so for but i haven't finished downloading the rest. 'Meath-Head vs McNugget' is my favorite so far, nice high energy song.
I'm also listening to Scars and Memories and it's really good, his diss song just impressed the hell out of me, i should have gotten into him along time ago. I knew he had the beats but i didn't think much of his vocals.

I've been reviving some classics, Supastition - The Deadline EP, J-Live - All of the above, The Roots - Illadelph Halflife, Brother Ali - Shadows on the sun and Blackalicious - Nia.
What do you guys think Supastitions best album is? Im leaning toward the Deadline at the moment in terms of consistently amazing lyrics and production. Maybe its because i havent heard it for a while and i've played 7yrs and Chain Letters to death lately.
I've had I Self Divine's ''Self Destruction'' on repeat all week. Dude has charisma.
Also, been listening to The Tipping Point. It's the only one of their albums I never really got into, I felt it lacked the more organic magic of their early stuff. However, I'm really feeling it right now, it's kinda unadventurous by Roots' standards, but it gets the head nodding. Really reminds me of Dilated Peoples in places.
I don't know if this has been mentioned but have you guys heard of the Gnarls Barkley project. It's a Cee-Lo and Dangermouse collaboration. The leaked track, 'Crazy' that my brother sent me off the album is simply incredible. I don't know where he got it but i'll up it later if you guys want, i don't know what link he got it from.
Found a link, there's actually 2 tracks, no track titles though.

Wow, there's actually 3 leaked tracks because 'Crazy' isn't one of the two, i'll have to up it later unless you guys can find it.

chain letters just came in the mail today, been listening to it since it got here. i talked to doom about that J.A.Q. guy, he said he had an album called foul mouth poet, but i didnt have any luck on soulseek with that name so i dont know. i really like that song though.
edit: i dont like p.o.s., self wins by default.

Chain Letters is great i played for a week straight when i got it. Have you heard the Deadline EP?
I had a feeling old D00m would have the low down on J.A.Q. that track is great, let me know if you find any info on the album please. Where is D00m these days? Is he gearing up for the NBA or some shit?
-hh- i dont know who P.O.S. is so i'd have to say I Self to, even though i've only heard a few of his tracks. I'd be happy to judge them in greater detail if you feel like upping some of their music. 😉
