That's tough. The easy answer would be Rakim. One of the best on the mic ever, for sure, and has the classic albums to back that up. I really love Biggie, but unfortunately he didn't get a chance to prove he could get better with time... as good as he was. Kool G is up there, and so is Big Daddy Kane. But overall, gotta give it to Rakim.

i don't think we can have a greatest of all time. Nas is definitley up there, but i wouldn't say he's the best.
