😐 He's from Jersey.
i guess you can kind of say he's both, since he's worked with both "coasts", in the sense that he made gangster related albums "Original Gangster" etc... and then made albums with east coast mc's "Pimp to Eat" (love that album)
Speaking of "Pimp to Eat", does anyone know what Kool Keith is up to. I heard that last album he relased "The Personal Album vol 2" or something like that, i didn't really like it though.

Crooked I is good too, but i'm not a fan. 'My Life' was good song.
and i disagree with ice cube and snoop in their prime can murder Ras. i don't think you have heard Soul On Ice...that shit is incredible. Easily one of the best lyrical albums...production could have been a bit better but it grew on me.
i heard that shit a dozen times man, lol
i agree that ras' lyricism is incredible, he's on some other shit. my favorite is of course the evil that men do and then nature of the threat, both top 30 songs of all time in my opinion... i never expected to hear those tracks coming from a west coast mc. but the beats cant hang with the lyrics, in "anything goes" ras shouldve let another beatmaker made that beat... uhmm dre? but props to battlecat and voodoo for bringing that west coast flavor.
ok
lyrically
soul on ice >>> any wc album by lightyears

naw that a single he did with c-rayz walz.
rent money music's just a picture of him displaying his skills and intricate spectrum's a barcode. i went with the cooler looking one out of the 3, as you can see.
i could up a track if you havent heard any of his stuff, i know you're always open to new stuff.

agree these are just opinions
and the majority agreeing with you doesn't mean you are more correct.
the majority of society buys 50 cent garbage...that doesn't make him better than what we listen to.
