I think that's their defining moment, not necessarily their best. Though it IS a really good song.
I sort of think it lacked that element to make it more than just an ultra famous song, but one that could actually live up to people's hailing of it. I do like East 1999 Eternal though. Good album.
Though, being from the UK, Crossroads has sort of been soiled for me after a certain group covered it.

😱 You're in Jamaica? Sweet, thats where my dad hails from. Where in Jamaica are you?As for recommendations i would seriously suggest anything by Cyne, they have an awesome sound and really positive (without being preachy) lyrics. Standout tracks would be "Steady" and "Out of time" from the album "Time being" and "Haze" and "Arrow of god" from "Evolution flight". You can PM me for more info if you like.
Have a happy easter everyone, if you're like me and off work for 4 days then eat, drink, 😮💨 and be merry!

i think you'll find that RA speaks over the chorus vocals in help wanted, not population control.

To switch gears, earlier I read this piece on hip hop, I found interesting. It read that Hip-hop has basically 3 eras.
1970-1986 = Old school era
1986-1993 = The Golden age of Hip-Hop
1993-present = Modern era of Hip-Hop
What do you guys think about that?.
i've never really put them into categories

I've done it with 'Me Against the World" too, great album, 'So Many Tears' is still my favorite rap song.
Others I can listen all day long are Immortal Technique's Revolutionary Vol. 2 and Biggie's 'Ready 2 Die' specifically for 'Big Poppa', 'Warning', and most definitly 'Juicy'.

Well then he clearly does both doesn't he? I just went to check the lyrics/lyrical credits and every single site I found credits his name as speaking over the chorus vocals.

Go to the bottom, you'll see it says:
Guest Spots:
"Company Flow 'Population Control' Funcrusher Plus (Rawkus - 1997)"
So either you're not listening properly or you're getting the songs mixed up.
