It's still hard to believe he's dead sometimes, porque I've been a huge fan ever since his debut album in 1991. And I've been to 3 of his concerts.

When I found out he was murdered I was halfway around the World, stationed in Incheon, South Korea. I was sad for like a week, ey.

2 other musician deaths that really affected me were Selena and Eazy.

Yeah I took Selenas death real hard. And Aaliyah's death made me shed a few tears

What's everyone's opinion on the new Roots album?

I ordered it from Amazon yesterday, so I'm still waiting to listen to it.

Mine will hopefully arrive tomorrow, i ordered it last week. I've heard great things, best since Illadelph Halflife.

Vinnie is the same. his lyrics are SOMEWHAT better, but he's still the same.

Has Stoup gone a different direction with his production?

it has gone in a different direction, but in a good way. i really enjoyed the new album.

anybody heard the new swollen members?

i gotta say, im impressed by it. its just as good as anything else they've released production wise and both prevail and mad child improved quite a bit lyrically, especially mad child.

Ive never really listened to Swollen members, Fuel injected was a sick track, but other than that i dont know too much about them. I rememeber NBA live had some tracks from Bad Dreams and Monsters in the Closet.

they were always hit and miss with me, but i liked all the tracks i heard off the new one.

yeah i went and listened to their albums, and i was alittle put off by their ryhmes, really cuz they werent that impressive. but i'm sure they have changed with time, hopefully for the better.

I've been listening to Organized Konfusion's Extinction Agenda and i must say im spechless at how good this album is.

I realise im probably going to spontaneously combust after i've typed this but i think that album is overrated, i like it alot but it wouldnt make my top 10 like most everyone else in this thread. Ok, there i said it and what do you know im still here ........................

blowup F**K!

ohh no its not my top ten, but i definetly like the album, shit i cant even keep a long standing top-ten album, i jus like the lyrcisim and the production. this is the first time ive heard Monch and Po full fledged on a album. not sure if i would buy it though

Its only 10 bucks on amazon, its definitely worth that bro. 😆

It was on most heads (from this thread) top 10 all time hip hop albums, as much as i like the album i just wouldnt rate it that highly - thats all.
