Ya, that is exactly what I've been trying to get through to him, but he always seems to be able to recover and defeat my point.

And what's your opinion on Immortal Technique, everyone?

Hes good and intelligent and he drops some hot bars, but my only thing with him is his lines sound to too intelligent sometimes, and he really needs to lay off the big words, cuz it throws off his flow, and the people who are listening to him. He also has that problem when hes battling, great battler though.

Technique is a great, but i get tired of listening to him real fast.

Rev Vol 1 was incredible.

I don't think he should tone down his words if using them is natural to him, unlike Canibus.

Before you know it, you'll get people saying the word "Apple" is too deep, and he'll turn into Eminem.

That selection completely ruined it for me.

And to everyone,

What's your opinion on the Marshall Mathers LP versus the Slim Shady LP? I've always had an argument against one of my friends on which one's better, and he always seems to be able to leave me thinking. So, in your opinions, which one's better?

slim shady lp hands down, its actually a really good album.

Horrible.

Unlistenable flow and breath control, sickeningly stale production, and horribly over-achieving try-too-hard-to-be-thought-provoking-when-you-suck-ass-lyricism with an occasional hot song that's only hot because of some shitty ass gimmick that wears thin after the second listen.

Perfect example of if you rap about something political, no matter how shitty your views are, you will get fans just because ITZ NOT GUNZ AND SEX AND BITCHES (get that weak ass shit out of here this guy raps about raping mothers and still gets love from that crowd).

**** outta here with that shit, I get more enjoyment out of the Milli Vanilli CD that I secretly keep in the deep recesses of the crawl space and have been too ***** throw away then I do out of his shit.

How he has fans I'll never know

Oh and he got demolished by Poster Boy in every since of the word.

To put it in layman terms

Immortal Technique = Cornball personified

Speaking of Technique, I hate him, but I'm willing to listen to some more of his songs. Any songs I should listen to?

id go with industrial revolution, one and revolutionary. i honestly cant remember any of the names of the songs, id go over to my room and check the case but **** that, im too lazy.

Listen to You Never Know but only listen to it once anymore and you'll hate it and that little unknown freestyle track he did at the end of DWtD is pretty nice too. But that's pretty much all I can recommend without cursing.

i recommend Revolutionary Vol 1 just for the lyrics and message.

Revolutionary Vol 2 has better beats, but lyrics aren't as great (but still on point), and the message is pretty much the same as Rev 1.

two great albums, by a good mc.

"when i pull up you got to run
you dont? i send u to heaven to meet Big, Pac, and Pun"
- Poster Boy

how unoriginal is that? how many mc's have mentioned sending people to heaven to meet another mc.

and plus Immortal Technique (if u remember) was calling all of Poster's rhymes. if judges saw that, it might have gone the other way.

but anyway, Poster won cuz his flow was real nice. Technique was off, and not in a good way. You can have an off flow and sound sick (Chino XL).

what u guys think of scarface?

vs. such memorable lines as

You're about to get abused today
This is freestyle friday you belong on written Tuesdays

Craig Mack tell your stunt double to get off stage

You look like Cormega's illegitimate son.

Keeping in mind that he didn't even try to ride the beat (how the hell do you freestyle OFFBEAT).

and plus Immortal Technique (if u remember) was calling all of Poster's rhymes. if judges saw that, it might have gone the other way.

He called out one line which was better then any of that Cormega's illegitimate son shit he was saying.

And Chino XL doesn't sound sick at all 😉

very nice top 5 👆

and Technique > Poster Boy any day

but Poster did win that battle based simply on flow and staying on beat.

and Chino XL is sick. you dont think so? whats the reason? flow?
