Hold on a sec, y'all. Out the blue, I just wanna switch gears for a sec and say this.
Hip Hop came outta the crucible of poverty. The crucible of injustice. And that's why most Whites hate it. The hate it because they fear it. Why because they don't understand it. And people fear what they don't understand. they don't know of poverty, they don't know of injustice, and not knowing of something is scary.
I've listened to rap all my life and have never had a felony or wanted to kill someone. I'm graduating with a bachelor's degree on the 10th of June in business administration and plan on starting grad school in Sept. and i still listen to and love rap music. And i always will.
Rap isn't the problem. It's last on the list. Out of many things, it's the parents and the individuals fault. It comes from upbringing.
