I preferred Doom's part. Not that it matters, more importantly it's proof how well they can work together. Rae might have to find himself another sidekick going on this.
That track sounds better on Doom's myspace page, better sound quality. Hadn't really listened to the lyrics up till today though, that beat just hypnotizes me.

I don't think it was a fluke, if there was only one amazing Vast verse on Cold Vein I'd agree it was a fluke, but you can't just fluke A B-Boys Alpha, Iron Galaxy or Pigeon. I just think Vast's got lazy. He's obviously real disillusioned with the whole poetic, ''new left'' hip-hop scene and has decided to focus on being a run of the mill mixtape MC dropping battle rap after boring battle rap. Maybe he thinks it'll regain his street cred or something.
It's so f*cking frustrating though man. I mean, listen to The F-Word, then listen to 9 Lashes or Candid Cam, or any of his guest performances post-Cold Vein (exception being Time Capsule by Illogic). A waste of a unique talent.

Exactly, what's up with him doing mixtapes all the time. I think he's been hanging around with the wrong people. Whyisdaskyblue? is one of the few tracks I've heard outside Cold Vein that shows his true ability.

and i agree with Vast on the new El-P joint, i know im probably by myself in the middle of the ocean (with Vast) but i really didn't like it. He still has his same subject matter/ style from his earlier albums, or thats what it sounded like to me, and quite frankly i could never get into him then either. his production was more spacey get high shit, then well hip-hop i guess. Im not saying it sucks, but I was already tired of it 3 tracks going in. just my opinion thats all, im glad to see everybody else likes it though.
On Can Ox .... well what can you expect? i never knew about Vordul's issues, but people were breathing down thier necks about the "would be" album. its like Vordul is sick, and all anybody can think about is the new Can Ox album....its like wtf bullshit is that ya know? so i can definetly understand his frustation and not wanting to go through with the album.
