you know what the beat is on the second one h?

damn that beat sounds familiar. dont' remember what track it was.

i think it was a Jay-z track. i just can't remember the track name.

What's up guys. What's good in hip-hop these days... any good new stuff out? Last new release I checked out was that Marco Polo album. Really good stuff.

Oh and J, that is indeed a Jay-Z track. Off of his latest album. I like it a lot. Haven't listened to it in awhile, but the beat is dope as hell. It's called Lost Ones, by the way.

Check out some Sway stuff, One for the Journey and This is my Demo have both got some really good tracks on them. It's English hip hop and it's very good, not the typical East London Grime scene stuff, check it out Yanks and Brits alike.

That Pharoahe was ok. It could never live up to expectations, but there are some gems on there.

As far as hip-hop goes I've just been listening to albums pre 95. Like Breaking Atoms, The Sun Rises in the East and Mecca and the Soul Brother. Stuff like that.

hey whats up man. last new hip hop i checked out was probably the new el-p but its soon to be the new jay-z because that beat is ridiculous.

i just checked it out and dre produced it eh. and also i ahve to say jay-z is a terrible rapper, common sense apparently had a lot to do with me likin the beat.

I haven't, no. I'll definitely check it out though. Thanks for the info. Sway, I think I am drawn to simply because he seems to be approaching hip hop from a different angle than most in the UK, have you heard the song Get Em High? It's really good, I reckon.

thats off a track on the homeless ep, it sounds a lot better on the record though.

That's still getting heavy play from me, too. Pharrell at the top of his game can go pound for pound with any producer around today.
