Yeah I never even considered buying it, it didn't even hit my radar. At that stage Clipse to me were just those two guys from the Justin Timberlake video. Completely forgot about them until I heard Mr. Me Too, and bought the album purely on the back of that song, expecting to be disappointed. I dont know about you, but I think Hell Hath was just about the best album of last year. Certainly was the most solid.
I absolutely LOVE Hell Hath No Fury. Looking back it's in my top 3 last year. Only real competition was Donuts and Blood Mountain as far as 2006 releases. That said I don't think Lord Willin' was an awful album by any means. It's a fun album. I still bump a few tracks from it time to time. Especially in the ride. The difference between LW and HHNF is Hell Hath is way darker... Malice and Pusha-T being pissed and fed up with all the record label bullshit. having to wait so long. I read an interview where they said they had their second album ready shortly after Lord Willin' but scrapped it when it was shelved for so long. They said they were in a different mind state by the time they were to release their sophmore album. Which is a great thing because I love the darker tone Hell Hath No Fury takes. So thank god they were pissed. Or they wouldn't have blessed us with such a great record.

It's funny because there's always a "Grey Fox" from time to time. Coming in here just to say hip-hop sucks when they have no clue what they're talking about. Now, if you've heard enough hip-hop... that is, the best the genre has to offer, then fine. Everybody is allowed to have their own opinion. I can care less. Just because one guy thinks hip-hop sucks doesn't make it so. Hip-hop isn't for everyone. But I'm betting you have no clue what you're even talking about.
