I've always preferred Vol 1. The beats on The Prophecy are better than anything on Vol 2 IMO, they sound a little crackly and low-key, but that's half the appeal.

I'm not too big on Immortal Technique, his creativity and use of language is often stunning, but he just comes across as arrogant and more than a little boastful most of the time. There's only so much brag rap I can take, regardless of how well it's written.

Yea, I got tired of Immortal really fast. Bores me now.

D00m, u like Non Phixion? the only member i like is Sabac. i never really liked Necro, Ill Bill or Goretex. Q-Unique i like but he's not member of Non Phixion.

Sabac is great.

I like Non-Phixion a lot. The Future Is Now is a dope album. All the beats are sick. I like Ill Bill. I like him a lot better than Sabac, but Sabac is good as well.

Necro is a very good producer. Don't care for what he raps about.

Yeah I agree.about Necro.. good producer but I can't stand his voice or content. Really not into that 'horrorcore' stuff anyway.

I love Gang Starr. I highly suggest getting their older albums Misha. They're A LOT better than this new one. But you're not really a hip-hop fan, so I dunno if you would appreciate them that much.
