I have not been into much hip hop other than the stuff on my I Pod. I've mostly been into jazz these past 6 months, as I'm playing in a jazz band. I did buy a bunch of CD's from the Peanuts and Corn label (10 CD's for $66 Whoooo!) but other than that and the Blue Sky Black Death release, I haven't bought any hip hop this year.
I actually just found out that Immortal Technique has a new release when I was at Target. Is it any good?

Anyone heard the new GZA and The Roots albums? Both great imo, definitely worth checkin out.
I've been listening to Pete Rock & CL Smooth, Masta Ace, Brand Nubian, Common and GangStarr a lot lately, not much in the way of new stuff. Anyone got any recommendations?
