actually, I've heard JK talk about them in interviews, and it is si ((as in silly)) - ri ((as in regal)) - us and cedric is sedrik DIGgory

have you guys seen the guy who is gunna play sirius in the movies? i think he's ugly i hate him. sirius is supposed to be handsome. i still really wanna see the movie, but, they should have picked someone better!

I wanted to say exactly the same....I've seen this actor and I also think he is quite ugly and he isn't fit this role...

The guy who's going to play Sirius...he does not match the part. For one thing, for some reason they have him with brown hair. Sirius is supposed to have black hair.

And the guy they have playing Lupin (I can't remember his name off the top of my head) doesn't really match the part either, in my opinion.

EDIT -- okay, I looked it up on Google and the name of the actor that will be playing Lupin is David Thewlis.

They probably used Gary Oldman because of his name and acting skills, but I thought they would cast someone who would be at least some eye candy. There's actually one pic of him as Sirius that is good, except I'm not allowed to post it yet. Hopefully soon though, if no one has seen it yet.

As for David Thewlis, most definitely not eye candy.

I want Johnny Depp to play Sirius!

gary oldman is a great actor, far better than hp has had so far. have you even seen him as sirius

Gary Oldman is a BRILLIANT actor, its just that Johnny Depp is also a brilliant actor and has the added bonus of being very fit
