Elrond walked into Tela's room. "What happened happened?" he asked seeing how much pain Daragon was in. "Where is Tela?" he asked.

Dagaron didn't even try to hide the pain from Elrond, he would see through it. He just needed to hide it from the others. "Assassinaton attempt on Tela, Theomer, Arwen, and myself. Tela was hit but is walking around. She didn't want to stay. I've already checked the surrounding forests for the assassins, so she is safe."

Arwen nodded in agreement.

Elrond pondered for a few minutes. He knew why someone would want Tela, Daragon, and Theomer dead, ut why his daughter?!

"What's wrong father?" asked Arwen.

Elrond smiled. "Nothing. Excuse me." he said dipping his head respectively. "I need to go for a walk."

"Go ahead," She said cheerfully.

Elrond left. His soft foot falls could be heard as he walked down the hall.

Tela hobbled down the trail. She avoided the eyes of other elves. The pain shooting through her side hurt.

Theomer sat down and studied the arrow carefully. He turned it over and over in his hands, until he was certain it wasn't a human arrow. A clever forgery, but the metal in the head hadn't quite been beaten out neatly enough, implying that it was of orcish origin...

Tela sat down on a bridge that was over a stream. She let her legs hang in the cold running water. She didn't care that her boots and leggings were getting wet.

Dagaron hobled out of the small room and towards the borders of Rivendell. He climbed up a small hll side, and got an eagles eye view of the small city. He saw Tela sitting on a bridge, Lord Elrond walking, and a the others where he had left them. If anyone was still around, he would be able to see them.

Arwen went after him on her white steed.

Tela sighed. WHen the cold water hit her wound it would take her breath away. She liked it though. It made the pain go away somewhat. She looked up to see a few elves walking. They cringed as they walked passed her.

Arwen looked at her from a distance and thought it better to leave her in peace.

Tela layed back and rememered what it was like before her race was wiped completely off the map. It wasn't until she heard the clearing of a throat did she return to the present. She sat up. "Good day, Mi'lord." she said to the elf as they passed her.

Theomer decided it best to go let someone know that they were not in fact looking for a man... He wandered through the woods until he came upon Dagaron, looking down from his hillside. "Lord Dagaron... The arrow was not of human origin, as we had thought. A good imitation, to be sure, but probably orcish."

Dagaron nodded. "I knew one of them wasn't human. You think our enemy got word of this meeting, and is trying to stop it?"

Arwen looked at Tela then went back to her father's house.

"If I had to make a guess... I'd say it was an early strike, an assassination attempt to take out a few important enemy figures before the war begins."

Tela snorted as she walked up behind Theomer. "You maybe right about you all being important, ut I am not a great commander of an army or not currently.
