King smiled "you have lived past lives...the first life you lived, you were my wife. but you were killed and ever since then i tracked down your soul as it entered another body. you always forgot who i was until i made you remember. but after years and years...it seems that it gets harder to do that."

She closed her eyes and sighed. "How long have you been watching me?" She opened her eyes and looked back at him. She was scared, but at the moment she didn't really cared what he did to her. She was too relaxed to care. It felt like she's been in htis bed before.

King looked away "whenever you thought you were alone but knew you weren't. when you felt something evil watching you. all those times, i was watching you." he looked back and poured a cup of wine for her when she was able to sit up

She shivered and tried to push herself up. She sat up, then was over come with dizzyness. "So ever since I was a child huh?" She took the glass and took a small sip. "You've lived in here for that long?"

King smiled "i have lived in many places...but since you were a child yes." he poured himself more wine and sighed "many years and yet i cease to die or grow old...maybe its revenge i seek but don't know on who."

She sighed and set the glass down. "What did you do with my cross?" She wearily tried to stand, leaning against the wall so she wouldn't fall over.

King sighed "its locked in here...don't try to open it. i had it cursed with things you can only dream about." he looked at her and felt his heart skip a beat

She sighed and stayed where she was against the wall. "When will you let me go?" She winced and sat down. She was too dizy to stand any longer.

King smiled "until you realise that you belong to me. maybe not even after that." he looked away and picked up his book again. "want a book...i have all but your false god's book"

She glared at him before looking back over at the drawr. "Oh how I wish I had it." She sighed and laid back down on the bed. "You're driving me crazy... I'm so scared. I just want to go home."

King smiled "you are home. you just dont remember that yet. and your friends won't find us. this place is well hidden." he turned the page and sighed "it'll just take some time to get used to"

She frowned and looked over at him. "Why are you keeping me here? Why not jus let me remember on my own?"

King looked at her "because you said that before and killed yourself...im not going to let that happen again." he threw his cup at the wall and closed his book, stalking into a different room

She flinched and waited for a moment before getting up to try and find a way out. All she needed was a window, or a door, or something. Quietly she snuck around, looking for any way out.

King called from the back "if your looking for a way out, just give up. i only know where its at" he went back to whatever he was doing quietly

She flinched hearing his voice and sighed heavily. "Damn it all... I want to go home." She closed her eyes and sat down on the bed, her face barried in her arms. "I want to go home." She wept.

King came back with a cup of tea, some honey, and some lemons "here, take it. it'll make you feel better." he looked away, trying to figure out a way for her to remember him

She set the tea down by the almost empty glass of wine, waiting for it to cool a little first. "Thank you." She said glumly. She wished Dan was here, or Dix. One of them wouldn't hesitate to help her.

King put the tray down "they can't help you...and never will" he sighed and sat down to read his book again

She flinched at his words and glared at him as he sat down. But she picked up the cup and drank the warm tea deeply. It felt good on her throat and she could feel it's warmth going all the way down. Tasting the tea made her smile. It was her favorite flavor, pepper mint... But how did he know that?
