Her horses eyes widened seeing the demon creature trot up to him. He laid his ears back and began to shy away, tossing his head and trying to get out of Sayas control./ "Shhh.. Ho boy... Hey hold on!" She slipped off her horse and held his reins. "Calm yourself... It's ok."

Snake-Flower glanced up at him and gave him a faint smile. "Good evening Falling Eagle... Is your friends awake?" She stepped back and grabbed another horses reins, quickly calming the animal.

"um, good afternoon, um, i guess he is." he turned and pushed his boot tip into dix's rib. "you awake yet?"

Snake-flower nodded and tied the horse to a post with the rest. "Good... You better get off the streets... He might be hurt after that demon man ran off with that woman.. I think he fainted. I watched the whole thing from my shop.. Poor girl. She'll probably be eaten or sacrificed to the gods."

dan smiled, still half drunk. "nah, he just wanted her because she was is wife in a past life or sometin'." he grabbed dix and began dragging him to the inn. "well thanks for the herb thing."

She waved and watched them go. "Be safe cowboy!"

King sighed and watched Saya calm her horse down "if i could help, i would. but i dont want the creature to become wild once more" he closed his eyes as a gentle breeze ran across the field, blowing sand and dust softly. "i think i should go into town soon. we need some supplies. if you want, you can come with me. maybe we'll run into your friends"

She sighed and pushed herself back up onto her horse. "I'll go alone, and you can watch from a safe place. I dont want you to cause anymore trouble." She sighed and took off over the fields just for a fun little run.

King followed and sighed "mortals and their emotions. well, i'm not any different am i? i let mine get in the way all the time." he shook his head and stayed a safe distance behind Saya. "i wonder if she ever felt the same way? like back when we first met...when i wasn't the cold hearted demon i am now. i wonder..." he sighed again and felt his chest heave with a sigh

A few hours later she arrived in town. She tied her horse up and glanced around, looking for King.

King came around the hill, his red and black hair blowing in the wind "i'm here Saya. where do you want me to wait?"

She only staired at him for a moment, her mouth open and everything. Then she remembered she was in public and closed her mouth. "Um... I um.. C-come with me if you really want too."

King nodded, teling his horse to hide its wings. "what made you change your mind?" he smiled, his eyes a neon blue with black ridges in the iris'
