the mouth on his chest had a small frown instead of its usual evil smile. king looked down and smiled "i think he's starting to care..." he softly took off into the night into the direction of where they come from

She frowned and looked down at the mouth. "Well thats... nice to know." She closed her eyes and rested her head on his shoulder again. "I'm sorry King.. I should have done this a long time ago."

King shook his head "its ok...i knew it was going to take time for it to happen. i'm sorry i look like this though. since my last body was destroyed and plus i used my last change for awhile, i have to look like this for awhile" he smiled that innocent smile "well, its going to be awhile, is there anything you want to ask or talk about?"

She shook her head and sighed heavily. "No.. I dont want to talk."

King sighed "alright then." he flew on intot he darkening skies

a few hours later, they reached their destination, late at night now. the only lights were from the moon and King's chest's eyes "we're here"

She opened her eyes and looked around. "Where is here?"

King looked around "here is a deserted ranch miles from civilization. i'll get the things you need tommorrow. right now you need mroe rest. there's a bed in the back with everything you need for the night." he looked around and sighed

She frowned and looked up at him. "You're leaving me here?"

King shook his head "no...for now i'm looking out. but i will join you in a bit." he looked at her and smiled "i won't ever leave you"

Without a word she turned and walked into the house before stripping down and snuggling under the dusty bed sheets. She didnt think he's be sleeping in bed with her so she didnt bother with a night gown.. Not like she could find one anyways.

after a half an hour King walked in the back and entered the room. he looked down and watched Saya, not knowing if she was asleep or not. he looked arouns and sighed. in his current form, he wouldn't want to stay to close to Saya so she isn't afraid. "i wish i had the body you fell in love with...the old me"

She sighed and opened her eyes, grabbing the covers so he couldnt see her body. "I do too... But I dont mind how you look. It's that man behind the mask that I should care about." She sat up and watched him quietly.

King smiled and gently sat down at the end of the bed "well the man behind the mask cares about you" he turned around and smiled the old smile of his

That smile made her heart sink. Her smile faded and her eyes dulled as more memories flooded back. That smile.. She'd seen it so many times. She smiled as tears welled up in her eyes. "I remember you... I remember more of you now... Shayul Gul."

King's smile faded and his eyes widened "you remembered...but what made you remember my real name?" he looked back across the room, not showing the emotions in his eyes

She shook her head and blinked away the blur in her eyes. "I dont know. I just heard myself say it to you once." She laid back down and sighed softly. "Lay down if you like... I have no choice of being here. Do as you wish. I'm a guest in your home." She smiled and looked of at him, her smile was forced.

King shook his head "just because your a guest doesn't mean i'm going to take advantage of it. just rest for the night, tommorrow we'll talk some more. good night, Alexica...i mean Saya." he got up, his chains on his pants scraping the floor and jingling. he sat down on a chair and closed his eyes, his wings covering him
