((Here, i'll give you some help. I'm sure you're tired of typing all this out))

The driver of the first wagon saw the sheriff and his deputy, he began to stop. Then he noticed that the sheriff wasn't the sheriff he was use to seeing in these parts, and the man he was looking at look a tad bit like a man he had seen on a poster somewhere. Instead of stopping, he continued on, not speeding up, but not slowing down either. Greg watched the wagons pass and turned to Buddy. "Well, that didn't go as planned."

Leo rode down upon a small town, it looked deserted apart from a man stood up against a post of the saloon. The man was waiting for someone, Leo rode forwards slowly with his hands on his guns. When he was close enough he saw it was Wolfe. He dismounted and aproached him. Wolfe approached the centre of the street.
"I got my memory back" Leo shouted to him, "I remember what you did to our father. And what you did to me. And I will get my revenge."
Wolfe smirked and lowered his hands to his guns, Leo did the same. Leo's past memories flashed before his eyes.

~Next couple of posts will be flashbacks before the actual duel~

Buddy sighed and shrugged. "Nothing much has gone as planned since setting foot in New Hope... We'll just have to follow to the rally point at the cabin, and take the train by force... non-lethal force, of course... while we wait for the Mastermind to make himself known..."

It sounded like a simple plan...

... but, as Buddy had just reminded himself, nothing was ever so simple in New Hope!

(((PM me when Catori can come back)))

Things REALLY fell off the tracks when the wagon train arrived at the rally point cabin, met the 'Scorpion' Army decoys, and, as Buddy and Greg were soon to notice as they galloped up from the rear...

... the Black Hat (Bart) and the very group of Scorpion bandits which Buddy and Greg had spent all day imprisoning, beating and torturing for this information!!

"Stupid stupid Sheriff!" Jericho roared, as the bandits took aim at the vastly out-numbered law-men. "You shoulda died with the savage and the n***er at the mine, Reno... saved you some pain, and the Army all these bullets... eh, Army bullets.. have some!!" Jericho stepped away and mounted upon the lead wagon, along with Black Bart, while the dozen or so soldiers and bandits snarled and growled and squared off against the 2 law-dogs...

(OK XornonJay... Greg's turn to get us out of this!!)

(((holy shiznet, Shoot , Buddy and Greg, kill. rampagee and unleash all hell)))

A short and stout man waded into the river. He bent down to spear a fish when he noticed something on shore. He then made his way to it. His eyes widened in surprise as he let out an audible gasp. It was human, more importantly an injured and sick indian.

He took off his straw hat and slid his poncho over his head and slid it onto Catori's body. After putting on his sombrero he decided to take Catori back to his house.

He gently lifted her up and began his journey home. It wasn't far or long before they arrived.

The house was small and cozy but it suited its owners.

The man carried her inside and layed her on the guest bed. "Lola!" he called.

Lola, a tall and skinny woman walked in. "You're home." she said before her eyes fell on to the unconscious indian girl. Lola ran to the bathroom and got a bowl of warm water and a rag. Sitting on the bed she dismissed her husband. "I'll take care of you, Amiga." she promised.

Catori groaned as the senora began to clean her chest wounds. "Usted es muy afortunado." she says.

Lola replaces Catori's old, battered shirt with a new white blouse. "Buenas noches, Senorita." Lola left Catori to sleep for a while.

Greg smiled wryly at the men and then at Buddy. "Jericho, I thought you would have learned your lesson by now." With that he looked at the men slowly surrounding the two law men. It wasn't very good odds, even for Greg. Most of the time he would have gone at it and died fighting, but not now. He had something to live for this time, and it was called revenge. The men came in closer and Greg studied them for a weakness.... and found it. They left a perfectly good barrel of explosives beside the cabin. Buddy nodded to show he saw what Greg was thinking. They only had to make it behind one of the wagons for cover. As the men approuched their horses slowly stepped backwards. Perfect! The horses slowly carried then in the line of wagons. A couple of the soldiers/bandits caught on to the movement. "Don't take another step law dogs." Greg smiled at the man who had spoken. "If I were you, I would be running about now." With that, he shot the barrel and dove from his horse behind one of teh near by wagons. Thus begun the fight of Buddy and Gregs life.

((Yeah yeah, it sux, i know. Its late at night, and I need sleep))

(nah! it's GREAT!! 🙂 WOO HOO!! )

Buddy skinned his pistol as he dove toward the wagon for cover. The explosion spooked the horses, which them bolted, the wagons lurching forward and thundering away down the road. Buddy grabbed onto the wagon and climbed onto the back, clinging to the railing which ran around the top and bottom of the carriage frame.

Three Scorpion bandits also rode on each wagon, and Buddy took 2 quick shots at bandits on the second wagon, as his wagon jolted past. 2 of those 3 bandits fell from their wagon, which happened to be the wagon Greg was hiding behind. Buddy peered through the small look-out slits cut in the sides of the cargo hold of his carriage, and saw the carriage was filled with US TREASURY bags, dozens of them, probably stuffed with cash and coin for deposit in the New Hope bank...

this was definitely the real money train, and Buddy wasn't about to let it fall into the hands of these Scorpion scum!! He tried to climb up top, to get behind some cover from all the guns o the ground, while those bandits on the ground were still recovering from the explosion..

Geoffrey Jericho would pay for this betrayal, Buddy decided, flipping onto the roof of the wagon, and ducking quick to avoid being seen and shot down by the bandit drivers up front...

((sry, g/f went to ohio for a week and I've been with her and seeing her off...))
Greg was about to shoot the three bandits that stood on his wagon when two of them fell dead. He quicky killed the last one and looked at the contents of the wagon......LOTS OF MONEY. Any other time, Greg probably would have cut one of the bags a taken a wad; but today, he was here for a different reason.

Hearing the reports of both Greg and Buddy's pistols, the drivers of the wagons brought out their pistols, making sure to keep a clear eye out for the law dogs. Unfortunatly for Buddy, there was a second man in the drivers seat in his wagon, and he climbing his way to where Buddy sat...knife in hand. What is our hero to do??

((i'll try to be on later tonight, but i'm defraging my comp sometime, so i don't know when i'll start, or when it will be done. If i'm not, sry))

((No worrys Jay... my comp died yesterday, so Im working out the bugs of my new system now... still not up to speed yet, but working on it...))

((guess what folks? Luis Pasillas and his sidekick, the mighty Nat (whose last name I incidentally forgot) are back in bidness. For real this time. 😎 ))

Luis, who had been napping outside on the porch, was woken suddenly by a flustered Nat bursting out the door. "Dammit Luis, it's that Indian girl! Remember her?"

"No way, Gringo's wife?"

"You better believe it."

"What? After all this time...? That's impossible," Luis said, leaping up from his hammock. He hurried inside, and, lo and behold, there was Catori laying there looking pretty bad, but after all she had probably been through, maybe not so bad at all. Luis said something in Spanish to the man who had rescued her from the river, who responded the same way.

~YAY! I finished my exams! That means that I'll be back to more regular posting~

~YAY! now to just figure out how you fit with everyone else, including Luis and Nat, freshly back from the dead again...~

~DR need to read the last 20 pages I think, and repost your return...

We're not 15 years in the future, Catori and Buddy aren't amrried, yet...
but, the bad news is Luis and Nat were killed, along with CAtori in the explosion at the mine...

Catori survived by pure luck (and by the fact that she hadn't disappeared from the thread for a month or 2) but Luis and Nat's deaths matched up to their deaths from that future story, so, to bring them back now, and then to have them killed again, at some future point, in another mine cave-in...

well, we'll see... but at least post a different entry post, because the story is that you were in the mine when it collapsed, even if you didn't die...

in fact, if you didn't die that might give Buddy hope that Catori survived as well, but then, if Luis and Nat have the right wrong story to tell, they could crush all hopes for Buddy, and still be back... just can't have them be back the way it was posted, since it was established earlier when you had quit, that they were working at the mine and the mine collapsed...

any way, try again with the Return of Luis and Nat post, and we'll see if you still fit...~
