We have been waiting an excrutiating long time. ery inapropriate to penalyze us for comments that have to do very much with this topic... we have been waiting for four days. they said we were to have the challenge on the table within two. This thread would not be touched and would be on page 2 if it were not for our concerns.

It was a rule that no pointless-ness existed in this thread. I'm only now deducting points.. but I dont want to take too much, cuz it kinda sucks the fun out of rule breaking..

About the Challenge:
Whomever said we would have an idea in two days was abit hasty, we don't usually move so fast due to communication issues and attendance in the House threads hence it's not so surprising to have to wait approx 3-5 days for a challenge. Then, with entries, we usually say a week to a week and a half but that has a habit of being extended... the judging, however usually only takes a weekend with last time being the exception due to exams but with June nearly over we should almost all be past that and able to move more swiftly with the game.
The chatting:
I've noticed prefects in other people's Houses 'chatting' merely because they are prefects and allowed. However, I and certain other prefects have only ever posted official notices in other Houses because it does not seem fair to the other members to take advantage of our position. Hence, I think prefects should only be able to post relevent info or leave the other Houses be, and if a member needs to post some important info and no prefects are around we've always let them post it because it was/is necessary.

If you havn't notice me and its magic are doing exactly that... griffendor just hasn't been here waiting the whole time like we have.
If I hadn't noticed? I wasn't referring to you, I was referring to those who have been 'chatting' so if you haven't been then there's no need to tell me. Gryff hasn't been waiting the whole time?.... Wow, what an audassity, you've only just joined this game and have hardly done any waiting in comparison to many of the members in this game. The Slytherin prefect is complaining when Slytherin are the only ones who have been late every single challenge, and the rest of us have accomodated all excuses, pushed back deadline after deadline and even averaged our Houses points which did us no justice at all when Slytherin did half the work the rest of us did and entered only one entry instead of two in the first challenge and none of us moaned about taking points back when we let them be co-winners of that challenge. But you wouldn't know that would you since you've barely just arrived in the scale of things - we're doing what we can and the challenge is definitely on its way. I'm sorry if I shound harsh, but trust me, we've all been kept waiting a hell of alot longer then you have yet regardless of how much we've tried to speed things up in the past. It just doesn't work that way, the game takes it's time to accomodate all who participate and if/once you've been here abit longer you'll realise that patience is an asset 😉
rebelphoe is right. ur house has been dead 4 a while now. we delayed judging of the last contest because no 1 from ur house submitted any entries. u guys r starting 2 get new members but all the old slytherins havent talked in a while. as 4 the posts in r common room, they normally tell us again and again, "what's the next challenge?" or "u guys r taking 2 long". we'r just very confused right now. we've had newbies coming in and ppl leaving. we'r trying 2 keep track of everything as well as thinking up of a challenge and getting the details right. so please b patient because ur not really helping the situation.

I've noticed that their has been some "friction" between people this week. I am here to hopefully clear this up. This is not what I invisioned for these Inter-House Challenges. Tassie and I wanted this to be fun and it seems that this is not happeing much lately.
First of all, to everyone, if you change your username, please PM me and tell me. I have been really confused lately, referring to people by their own name, or thinking that they have been inactive, when really they are. They are just in a differnt username. PM me.
Secondly, tassie and I will talk, but since there is no one confusion with these house points, from now on, ONLY tassie and I are allowed to take away House points from people. No prefects. New members probably don't know the rules, and with all these new names .. .it can get really confusing. Uni, is the Hospitality Ghost, so when new members come, he sends them an OWL explaining the ruels. ..etc. If anyone wants to help him out, feel free to PM me and we can talk.
Third, the rule: "Only Prefects can post in other houses Common's room" needs to be revised or something. When we first started this, it was becuz Prefects might pop into someone else's common room and see a question about something and answer it. Or they might talk about other Inter-House Challenge related stuff. Now, it seems that some prefects have abused this right and are just "chatting." Same for other non-prefects. I understand that some days are slow and you don't get the response from your house so you might pop into someone else's common room, but tassie and I are going to talk and we're either having this rule or not. No slips.
Tassie and I are going to come up with a list of specific rules.
I hope I didn't sound harsh, belive me, that was not my intention. But I don't like to see some members angry or sad becuz of what's going on. This is supposed to be fun and it is my deepest desire, that it will be.
