As 24 prepares to present Season 6's final hours on Monday, attention has turned as of late to Jack Bauer's next trying day. As recently teased in TV Guide, a "huge transition" and "something completely new" await the series. And in his exit interview, Eric Balfour hinted at a farewell for CTU, as part of a sweeping "change of scenery." Hmm, what exactly is going to happen at 10:59 pm Monday?
Invited to weigh in on the coming "reinvention," Fox entertainment president Peter Liguori tells TVGuide.com, "It will be a significant change in the show. Obviously, I can't share any details, but I'm very excited. I'm excited because [executive producers] Joel [Surnow], Bob [Cochran] and Howard [Gordon] are unbelievable writers, and... if they take what I think is the most daring show on television and decide to [stage] a greater high-wire act for next season, I think that’s what the show is all about. They have [the network's] full support and, I'm sure, the support of [star/executive producer] Kiefer [Sutherland]. And I believe they will also have the support of the fans."
Yeah, one of the worst episodes I have ever seen in TV.
The first two shows in the season were alot better, more exicting and less whiny bitches.
The ending....oh wait a minute, Jack turned emo.
****ing horrible.
Unless, the revamp is amazing, **** that shit. A waste of my two hours, which I cant get back.
I gotta say, the season finale was garbage. I didnt give a s**t about Milos brother, I didnt care whether the kid lived or died, I knew Jack was gonna survive, no Tony, who gives a f**k if ugly ass Chloe is pregnant? The only thing that surprised me was when the fake board blew up in Mikes face and I swear that in one of his conversations with Nadia she called him "Ricky". I cant believe I skipped Heroes to watch this crap. First time 24 disappointed me. 🙁
In the end, the only part I liked was when Bauer kinda looked like he was going to shoot that guy. I was thinking, wow, what a great way to liven up the series by actually making the main character a fugitive. And a real one to boot.
I think that would be entertaining.
Also, the only part of the season on where Bauer said something thats not typical Bauer shit and the dialogue wasnt so ****ing bad. It was interesting to finally have him freak out about how nonbody went to help him after saving the US so many times. That was only good part.
Other shit sucked my hairy balls. Why cant they ****ing kill of Chloe. The worst 24 character ever.
The only two characters I want to see in next's year season, if I'm going to watch it is Morris and Doyle. And of course Buchannon.
Yeah i agree with all the disappointed people out there on how 24's season ended. My wife and i are big fans but we were def. upset with the show over the last few weeks and they made the 2 hour season finale sound like it was going to be the greatest thing ever. C'mon who cares about Audrey and her Dad. Yes it was good acting but we already know Kiefer's a great actor.
All the buzz (and the producers are well aware of it) is that even very loyal 24 fans are getting tired of the same old pattern that has existed for the last few seasons. If the producers don't stick to their word and COMPLETELY CHANGE the format of the show they're going to have a major drop-off in viewers and ratings; including me.

enjoy
ps. Elisha “Cougar Bait” Cuthbert is still hot as hell
so they delayed prduction 3 weeks because shooting in Africa was too expensive and they couldnt find a good spot in the US to pass as africa
they cancelled the whoke storyline they were working on and started fresh
very interesting

That just tells me that they are going to write a much better season. Being how parts of this past season stunk.

well, we all knew it was going to be alot different, especially since the shows directors said themselves that season 6 was not very goodbut it is very reassuring that they are serious about this change, because it is SUCH a good show
I agree with you there. 24 is a fantastic show.
Last season was such a let down and I lost all hope on 24. I just watched the trailer for Season 7 and dammit, my hopes came back! Tony is back! Red "dumbass" Foreman is in the show it seems too. Looking forward to it.
