Too bad this looks like a complete rip off of the Die Hard franchise.

U mean this new season or the whole series in general?

Good ****ing hell that trailer kicks so many kinds of arse!

Could they possibly redeem themselves from the mess that was last season? Is it possible to jump back over the shark? I guess we'll soon find out.

I think they'll redeem themselves, especially if the storylines are good and not linger too much.

And stay on track and not have like 20 diffrent sub plots happening at once.

Too bad its not going to air in January now, thats a real bummer.

well from what i heard, the shows that have some episodes already shot are going to air those, so we will get about 8 or 9 episodes. then it will stop. unless fox decides to just not show any of them.

Since season 5, the writers have always said "we are going to go in a new direction and have this and that as the terrorist".

They say this every season and so far I am not impressed. I am a die hard 24 fan thru and thru but seaons 5 & 6 haven't pushed my buttons at all.

it really does suck that they killed off tony, but i would rather him stay dead then if they came up with some hokey story about how he didnt really die or something

this is funny to me....

I wonder if you are still spoiler-free for Season 7, or if you have given up hope and plan on doing something else with the time you usually allot for watching 24, given what's been revealed as partial plot for the eps already in the can

BTW: Day 7 has been postponed indefinitely, due to the writers' strike... definitely not starting in January, possibly not starting until NEXT January (2009), but some folks say the strike is going to completely change the way TV series and seasons are structured, to prevent such huge gaps in the event of future strikes and such...

any way, back to topic:

Spoiler:
TONY LIVES!

Well whenever the new season starts I hope its a good one.

i posted that before the trailer for season 7 came out

and i would still rather they

Spoiler:
keep him dead than come up with some bullshit

I agree

hard to top the BS they tried to feed us with Day 6, but it looks like they just might get there, if Day 7 stays the way it's currently been plotted and shot...ted...

dare I hope that the 'gods' of 24 decide to take a page from The Big Book, and take a rest break after Day 7?

Jack Bauer running around for a 'full week' without sleep seems like a good way to end the show, no??

especially if they have some plot for a 24 feature film or trilogy or whatever they come up with for those.

First Heroes and now this...WTF? is there any good shows out there that is not effected by this strike.

No, dude, its a writers strike which affects shows that need scripts and the majority of the shows, or the more commercial the show has those types of writers.

I know it's WGA that's on strike.

I just caught up on the last 3 seasons. I love how, every other season there is a mole in CTU.

Agreed with ragesRemorse.
I'm in love with 24. Bought all the seasons, watched them all at least 5 times, all 6 seasons in a row 😄 Crazy haha.

And TONY LIVES?!!? O.O

This is why I don't want to check up on news about 24 😂 Damn spoilers!

Anyways, related to what ragesRemorse says...
I'd be sitting on the couch, legs folded, food scattered on the table in front, bottles and bottles of water set, and I'd watch the show. And every time they show CTU, the people there, and what was going on in there, I'd think.
"Who's the sneak in this one..."

awesome

I can't wait!!!

LOL, Im always looking for a mole in CTU too. I thought Miles was the mole last season. Im glad Tony's back. I heard Jon Voight was added to the cast. If it is true, its gonna be a good season.

Meh, last season sucked the big one.

I have no inclination to watch this season. I'm getting bored of 24.

I might watch the first episode.

Cant argue with that but I aint about to give up on it yet. Hopefully they'll make up for it this season.
