Film Appearances: Godzilla 2000 (2000)

History: A new, very powerful Godzilla emerges from, well, I don’t know. Who knows where it’s coming from, but it still appeared and it was obvious it wasn’t the first time. This Godzilla met a giant rock, blew a piece of it off, and revealed a flying saucer. It released it’s lifeform, Orga, who mixed it’s DNA with Godzilla’s. They fought, and when Orga tried to swallow Godzilla to completely be him, it lost it’s head. Godzilla walked away, but not before having some fun with the town. (Destroyed the whole thing in one blow)

Fighting Power: *****- Horribly strong.

This is the most powerful monster yet. He can shoot out a massive heat beam more powerful than anything ever seen. It is even more powerful than the one from burning Godzilla, and without the risk of a meltdown. Not only can he destroy everything in site with his thermonuclear breath, but some of the old Godzilla has popped back. He is tail whipping and biting things once again. He is also smarter, allowing himself to be swallowed to blow up the enemy from the inside (sounds like Men In Black to me). He is extremely fast! nowhere near as slow as the Heisei Godzilla. This Godzilla combines the best of the old and the new, making the ultimate Godzilla. This is the one that will be mainly focused on for a while. Super-hero wise, if this guy was in marvel, hed be some force to be reckoned with.

as far as Venom beating Superman it was a Superman weakend to a 2 ton strength class. probably the only time Supe's would have ever lost to anybody from Marvel. but yes he did beat Supe's, almost killed him. Access and Spidey saved the day tho and then everything returned to normal. including Supe's super strength

Oh... THe living tribunal doesnt slowly erase something, he does it immediatly doesnt he? So, if he erases something, it has no way of surviving, because it is deleted immediatly... The reason why The Living Tribunal doesnt just "erase" every villian in the universe is because his job is to keep the universe a well balanced placed and to keep it safe for both good and evil. And emm there wouldnt be much point in any marvel comics then if there was no villians lol would there???? 😉

It's not fair comparing the likes of Venom to Superman - even if there has been a crossover - I just think they should never meet.

In fact - DCs and Marvels characters are based on completely different laws and "rules" - that it is truly unfair to put up a Marvel character in the same context as a DC character. I'm not a huge fan of these diverse VS. issues - as I think the "realities" that Spidermans world and Supermans world are completely different - and should never be considered as in the same "universe".

This is because in Spidermans world, Superman does not exist - well he didn't until comic writers saw the dollar signs pop up in front of their eyes and started crossing over characters that had NO RIGHT being crossed over. Crossing over the likes of X-Men, Hulk, Fantastic Four and Spiderman works - they work on the same level and can rightly live in the same universe. It's when you start crossing over the likes of Superman and The Hulk, or The Flash and Spiderman, where you start to get problems.
Also, am I the only one who thinks that Marvel crossovers work perfectly (with the exception of those stupid celestials) - wheras the likes of DCs characters don't really gel? Batman and Superman are constantly crossing over, and in my opinion I think these two "universes" should have never been combined - the way in which their fiction is written, their abilities, the mythos, everything, is totally different. Superman is way too overpowered to be crossed over. Silver Surfer and Galactus is another overpowered comic and I don't think it's fair to take characters out of their designated contexts and make them fight one another. Because of crossovers, superheroes these days are expected to have AMAZING powers, in order to match up with everyone else they will inevitably will be compared against. It's unfair, and because of this, all too many comic book creators focus too much on style over substance - sacrificing narrative for flashy unmatched superpowers. I'm not a huge fan of crossovers - they are kinda like cheap tactics to sell copies rather than win over readers with original plots and gripping narrative.

Overpowered?? You only think this because u judge the likes of batman to superman. There is no such thing as overpowered.

I said I don't LIKE judging Batman to Superman, and that only GROUPS of superheroes group well together. I said X-Men and Spiderman compliment each other well, they operate on a similar level. Spiderman and Silver Surfer do not work on similar levels, as do Batman and Superman - so why would anybody put them together? Totally mis-matched.

Compare Superman to Spiderman and you get an OVERPOWERED superhero. What I said is that it's not the superheroes creators fault, but rather the person who decided to make every single comic book hero part of the same "universe" by crossing them all over, and putting the likes of Batman up against Superman, both of whom were never designed to face such characters.

But in the JLA, Batman does function well with the other, more powerful heroes, including Superman.

Look, Godzilla is a superpowerful super reptile, Most of the heroes would get their asses handed to them, But, There are a select few that would take him out without a thought, no in between. Godzilla has many different abilities, hed withstand most of the plain heroes, like the hulk, Juggernaut, Venom, Carnage, Spider-man, Batman, Super-man, Wolverine, ETC. But, The big guys, such as the living tribunal, or Galactus, but, They would have a job to defeat him, The living tribunal, it wouldnt take him long, but godzilla doesnt wait, hed strom in going nuts, itd be hard for living tribunal to take on his power, to get enough time on focusing on the deletion of him.
Godzilla isnt unstoppable, but in his movies, he is... So its hard to say. Hes never been defeated, ever, not even yb other giant monsters. Yes, I agree, there are some heroes who could crush him easily, But theyd still have a bit of a fight, he wouldnt just be like that to destroy. Red superfly, you need to watch some of his movies, because godzilla isnt just a big lizard. He has multiple special abilites that make him a tough adversary.
He could easily beat Galactus, or the living tribunal, But, then again, they could easily beat him. Hes stronger than all the super-heroes, SOLO, not combined.
But, yes, he can be destroyed, but not just like that!
And He sure as hell couldnt be even touched by the hulk.

If the Living Tribunal, Lucifer, or a chatacter of similiar power wanted to destroy Godzilla, it wouldn't by a fight in a normal sense of the word. They's blink, and the world would be short one giant lizard.
