So what do you suggest? He sings with a helium voice and a German accent just so no one notices his voice sounds like Jagger? I don't see anyone complaing that Aaron Lewis, Shaun Morgan and Wes Scantlin all sound like Kurt Cobain. They're not copying him, they're just keeping alive one of the greatest vocal talents of all time, as is The Hives singer (apparently).

He's not completely copying him. In fact until you mentioned it I hadn't even noticed any similarities between the two. And I'd be hard-pressed to find a rockstar who doesn't strut across the stage. In case you haven't noticed, its what they do. All of them, not just Jagger.

Whats so retarded about it? The guy sings in the exact same style, and his messages of depression are practically the same. They may not actually be copying them, but there is major similarities.

I had noticed thanks. Look, it's just my opinion if you dont agree then fair do's but i think he has nicked his moves. No rock stars swagger like Jagger, his moves stand out but, to me, The Hives bloke just looks like he's copying him.

Almost every post-Nirvana grunge band has 'copied' Kurt's style. It's basically the trademark voice for the genre. It's more of a flattery and acknowledgment of a great talent than a deliberate rip-off.

And never compare Puddle Of Mudd's lyrics to Nirvana's. Thats just sickening.

No, it wasn't. I don't think its mean though. I actually like Puddle of Mudd. I just see major similarities between them and Nirvana.

Onyx, just because they all dress the same and have a similar sound doesn't make all post-Nirvana bands "posers"... Grunge is a genre, which, by the way, Nirvana didn't consider themselves to be part of... I don't see you calling all post-Ramones punk bands posers...
