I'm sorry that on panel Wolverine is shown, dodging and tanking Cyclops most powerful blasts to the face, while holding back with him in melee because he could on shot him if he wanted to. 😎
My "preconceptions" of the character are confirmed 99% of the time, it's the 1% that I ignore that you latch onto like a leach while ignore the 99% of Wolverine continuity everyone else acknowledges. You don't think Wolverine can beat anyone, I mean... you just said sincerely that you believe Cyclops is a match for Wolverine in close quarters combat. Were you sexually assaulted by a man in a Wolverine costume at a birthday party as a child? What is reasoning for this unabashed hatred? I think looking into some therapy would be really beneficial in helping you move forward and live a productive life.

I read comics. You should try that too. In particular, there's this comic called X-Men: Schism. Just came out. Try reading that rather than resorting to some humorlessly boring personal diatribe.

Wolverine avoided most of Cycl's blasts so that they barely grazed his body, and there is no indication that Cyclops is limiting the strength of his blasts, and considering he knows the guy he is fighting can eat punches from WWH, it's highly unlikely that he would hold back in the first place.
We are all real impressed that you make the effort read comics on your own. It's truly an inspiring story of one man overcoming diversity, but maybe you should get an adult to help you? No one would judge you, and that way you could get some help understanding what is actually happening in them. 😎

I agree too, and I'm ambivalent about it.

One thing: There was this old Xmen comic where everyone gets mind controlled and attacks Logan. Colossus knocks him away, Cyclops blasts him, ect, and Logan eventually gets mind controlled too.
I forget who the mind controller was though.. I think it starts off with the guy taunting "Now, such and such, you are mine!", and in the next comic I believe he uses the mind control Xmen in a circus or something stupid..
It's been a long time since I read it. But, if Cykes is mind controlled, doesn't that imply he's not holding back?
