I've SEEN Wolverine beat Cyclops for crying out loud! Just because he's the leader, doesn't mean that beat down the entire X-Men! It's just that he's the best tactical decision maker. Firstly that was Xorn but he has stabbed Magneto... the Master of Magnetism... Secondly now refer back to your earlier question directed at me.
Also, I have a comic book where Professor Xavier mentioned Wolverine's name to Cyclops (this is before they met) and Cyclops basically pissed himself after Professor X mentioned him! Cyclops went on and on about how Wolverine was the most dangerous and the most efficient killer. I was kinda embarassed for Cyclops, he sounded like a loser!

Talk is cheap, post a scan or proof
The question isn't if Wolverine could beat Cyke in a comic book. I can easily think of situations where either could win and it make sense.
The qestion is if they were placed on the opposite ends of a battle field and started fighting at the count of three, who would win most often. It's not that people don't think Wolverine can take down Cyke, but given the stipulations of this forum they think Cyke would take a majority of the victories. All he really has to do is take off his visor and spin around in a circle. 😬
And exactly who would win isn't clear in the comics as they are rarely fighting with the intent to kill each other.
