I find the new way to be alot more Easier and fun to deal with.

Especially considering everyone gets to be a Jedi instead of wasting several months of their live trying to obtain the level of "Force-Sensitive" and then trying to deal with the fact that if they die until they reach Master, they are screwed. Not to mention the LVLing system is alot better and easier to understand for younger members.

Mist, I suggest you buy the Starter Kit because it comes with the JTL Expansion.

Oh, and Mist, If you do buy it, Remember what Server to join....

If you want an RPing experience thast a little better than pretending to be a Dark Jedi in the forums *giggles in disbelief* then get it. RPing on SWG is brilliant as long as you get a decent guild.

Why is it shit? Have a look around the Internet about it. Find about about pre-cu times, then the shit cu, and the complete garbage of the NGE.

Go to Gamespot, look at the user reviews... look at the pc-gamer review, they tell the truth, the game was once great, but those days are long gone.

Also, SOE have the worst customer service ever.... EVER!

Yeah their customer service is wang.

But I still like, although i have less time to play it than i used to.

Search for them, go on the offical forums, although most people who played during the good times have left, a few are still there.

DW, this guy seems a bit cranky. It's not bad if you want a great RP game instead of mindess crushing of animal skulls. The Suport Team are not very good, but if you try to cope, you'll end up coping.

As someone said elsewhere theres no free trials about fro either SWG or
WoW, but a good game like I enjoyed/enjoy is Guild Wars, which is an MMORPG, but totally free after your intial purchase.

I have Guild Wars, havent played it in months though.

I might wait around until a free trial comes up before buying it then. See whether I like it or not.

Good. Guild Wars is fun but its become a little stagnant of late. Geez look at me. i know too much about these things. I have a social life honest. It mainly includes 😮‍💨 weed but there ya have it!

There is a free trial on right now, you can play the first 10 levels, it's about a 600mb download, pure shite though.

It quite possibly could. It's the most succesful franchise to go into the online Role playing world is it not?

But it could only be LucasArts fault for getting Sony Online Entertainment involved in the first place, and lets face it - thats the worse point about the game. I can cope with it though, simply because Rping with my guild iss amazingly brilliant.

People aren't going to put up with paying money for that, though; for it to survive it simply has to be twinned with a decent system framework.

No, your right. A know a few friends people that have stopped and gone over to WoW. Now this is annoying because although WoW seems to have a lot more going for it (well lets be honest, everything) I have never wanted to walk around a rip off of Middle Earth, it's never drawn me and I certainly didn't enjoy it while I played it.

Yes SOE have shot SW Galaxies to bits, and with there 'improved' interfaced they've cloven off a lot of sophistication that many actually enjoed in the system.

But im gonna carry on paying/playing, not too say every month i subsribe, that would not be worth my money because sometimes things get real busy in my life, but every alternative month I'll give over £10 and be happy.
