4. - Although the movie itself had scottish historians wretching in pain, William Wallace's death in braveheart was horrid to watch, but well done.

3. - Eric Bana gave Hector's death a sad nobility. (once again not a huge fan of the movie, but Bana and O'Toole were great)

2. - When Captain John H. Miller says "Earn this" in saving private ryan, I thought it should the total absurdity of the situation, it was an awesome moment.

1. - Maximus' death and everyone's reation to it was so well done that it left me speachless.

i have to say that in the movie falling down micheal douglas dies and to me he was the hero in the movie or robert de niro in heat the priest who dies in the excorsists the japanese samurai in the last samurai
