If they kept it to themselves IM sure the world would be a different place. They dont get much credit for the amount of good they have done for this earth

well first of all My dad has a Phd in Modern History with a specialization in the 20th century history.

Secondly almost all historians in belgium who study WW2 Agree on the fact that the americans could not have beaten germany without the Russians. They also believe that the Russians however could have done this job on their own. One of the biggest reasons for the americans to enter the second world war in europe directly (not via sending aid, they send tons of aid and millions of dollars to both the UK and the USSR) was because A) the russians were nagging about it so damn much, B) because they were scared that the whole of europe would fall under control of the russians. (hence the race for berlin)

Almost everyone who knows a bit about the second world war knows that without the russians and the eastren front the allies probably would not have won.

I never said the americans didn't join in, I said there was no need for it, it was and still is greatly appreciated but there is no need.

and any american who thinks this gives them the right to behave the way they are (I know I'm generalising ppl sorry but ya get what I mean 😉) should think twice

USA will crumble, in time. No great nation kept up its glory forever, and if you want a prime example of that, take Rome for instance, most advanced in its time, most powerfull, most feared, yet it still crumbeled.

Develop for less, sure...Reason being, THE PAY IS FAR LESS for the employees....Thats why many civilians are struggling.

Compete with all their products... Impossible. You need to come up with something to compete.. (ie:capita and R&D) It goes far beyond steel, and tin. Technology is where its at. The EU is heavy on the Enviro... What do we do? Complain about it? Japan, China have come up with a hybrid car that uses half the fuel (deisel is comming far more efficient) and the US has a back orders around the world for vehicles including Suv's to comply with Enviro safe and cheaper transportation. (ie: the hybrid) Where is the EU solution? A BMW, Mercedes... smells of double standard...Sorry to say, the Mid East will dissolve when some country/nation on the face of the earth comes up with a better supply of energy. The EU is following suit lead by the US, so they dont fall onto a mess the Mid-East is headed for. Ever been there. Its like walking into the middle century.

The US will no crumble.... They are very diverse and are for a global economy. They do an excellent job of protecting their own economy as well as spread knowledge across the globe. The EU sees this so we can keep up..

OPEC is NOW trading all oil in the US dollar. ALL countries including Japan, Chine, the EU, use the US dollar to trade oil. Countries have trillions of US dollars in the bank for reserve. Oil is strongy needed for ANY economy nowadays.... If they put oil sales in the EURO your talking about Trillions of US being bought for the EURO. That would hurt the US dollar drastically.

Lil-biyatch- Yes, Japan has been quite intelligent with technology for being a small nation. We pay top dollar for a 100meg upload/download per sec on the interent. Thats the nrom there.. They can download a 3meg song in about 5 sec's where it takes us (on broadband) rougly a minute. There are far ahead of upload/download then the rest of the world. There economy was booming when the US was in a recession. They will catch up as th EU will.....
